How is that even possible? I've done a few OOTW and they always reveal in such a way that you can change out the Aces to get them to match the piles. But this one!? ♤♡◇♧

Clever stuff , I think I might have it. So the changing of lanes from the original OOTW is replaced by swapping two aces. Question is whether the Gaffinator accomplishes this with R&S or sticky. Never had anyone call out the lane switching and I wonder with this version if you can justify the four piles…bloody good magician fooler though. If we didn’t have the benefit of replay my brain would have ground to a halt.

I think I can tell roughly (not exactly!!) how this is done, but that just makes it all the more impressive. Absolutely hate getting called out on switching piles when doing OOTW (can happen with very observant spectators) But I am 100% sure no layperson would know how this one is done, I had to watch it twice to confirm my theory!

After 35ish years of doing the trick, never had anybody spot the switch - create two piles from the 4 packets red/black and black/red then spread the two larger packets vertically going in opposite directions and flip for the reveal. As I mentioned in a comment to Pete, Derren Brown has a really nice variation for this trick that's worth checking out. Bit more advanced than the way I was taught but defo worth knowing👍
