I love this trick, great tutorial! 😊 In the original Vernon version published in Stars of Magic he doesn't use a Zarrow nor a push-through, but something he named the "Triumph shuffle" which is a strip-out shuffle, but the cards are never pushed through 👍
@XavierEMagic2 жыл бұрын
Yeah it's a variation of the Strip out that isn't really used anywhere else. It's still really good though.

The Superbowl of card tricks. Triumph is honestly my fav, and I love your variation of it. That added shuffle at the end looks like it will really get the "WTF" responses flying! Great job

Dai Vernon has again blessed us with this amazing effect! Thank you for teaching it here ! I'm using this trick every time I have a table ! And if not, I'm using the Jay Sankey's method ! Triump tricks are just too good you know !

Hi You say in the video that Dai Vernon uses the zarrow shuffle. That is not correct. Dai has developed its own false shuffle method, similar to the pull-through shuffle, but somewhat simple to perform. You can find the original description in "Stars of Magic" on page 23.

Yes you’re absolutely correct! I apologize for not mentioning it correctly in this video

Great trick. Maybe an idea for an alternate start and ending: Don't let the spectator show you the card. And in the end: spread the cards face up. The selected card will be face down. Let the spectator reveal it.

Definitely a great way to do it!

@@CardMechanic Directors shuffle (Handcrafted Card Magic volume 2) 😉 but I wouldn’t post a video of denis behr’s books because that is just way too strong.. the card magic in Denis behr‘s books is so amazing! You should see „Herbert - the trained rubber band“
