God is deadly serious about sin, when we genuinely repent we hate sin just as God hates it, and we turn away from it. "But God commended His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR YOUR SINS, WAS BURIED, AND THAT GOD RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD. This is trusting with all of your heart that Jesus Christ is who he said he was. He saves us from sin and hell and brings us into a relationship with him. We become God's children. We are saved from hell, eternal death. "For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13 CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD. As a christian woman I was relieved to get to know scholars like them that made me to loose my fear of these always seriously looking , never smiling elder men lecturing about Islam. So it is not only about lecturing the younger ones, but also people from outside the umma. I haven't found anything like this - in the same dephts of knowledge in scripture and without condemning other religions, but sticking to your own - in my native language German. Which I think is very sad, because there is a need for this, too in order to lern more about the spiritual levels and historic backgrounds (which I am most excited about). May the Almighty also bless you for your work in mutual understanding!

Back in 2013-2014 I came across muft Menk’s videos of series of prophets. Those videos change my life forever around that same time I came across a video by shiekh Belal patrioties your life or something in that line. I just became this whole different person. What an amazing video to see both of you doing goodness to our communities. May Allah reward you both. Muft Menk you are the modern leader most kids can relate to. My 12 years old daughter listens to you and cry. She can understand you well. One minute she’s crying and the next she’s laughing with you. What a blessing that is. Keep it up and ignore them. Muftis Menk humor spoke to me when I was very low in my Iman and had no idea what Islam was really about despite me being raised Muslim. My Sunday school teachers were at times unkind, inpatient and they sometimes hit us they didn’t seem warm or inviting and I left the Quran school as a teen. Hence why when I discovered Mufti being welcoming and relaxed I realized I just need a calm lighthearted teacher. My favorites together. Mufti Menk made my son who was barely in middle school if I recall correctly , laugh, giggle and feel connected …. To a shaykh … who likes like “that”….never did I see that coming. Never did I expect That my American born and American raised son can feel connected to shaykh who has the look of what was once so alien to the masses. I’ve been watching both of these wonderful brothers for so many years. Both helped me to start practicing Islam for the first time in my life 10 years ago. It is such a breath of fresh air to have leaders who are approaching people from where they are at and still giving them proper dawah and Islamic reminders and teachings. As some who who grew up on a wayward version of Islam, I had to find true Islam for myself and I was terrified from all of the spiritual abuse I went through growing up. Men who looked like these two brothers always frightened me, but Mufti’s being approachable and offering halal jokes and demonstrating that he understands the people is what is really winning the hearts and minds of Muslims and non Muslims alike. And Bilal Assad’s beautiful way of teaching and helping us understand things at a deeper level is unmatched. I gain so much from both of these brothers on a daily/weekly basis. If either of you @muftimenkofficial or @bilalassad see this please keep going with your approaches. Allah knows sometimes He is saving people’s lives spiritual and otherwise through you. May Allah accept from you, clean your hearts and intentions and make your work a means of you entering the highest levels of Jannah. Ameen.
