Pastor David, would you even say that the suffering he talks about enduring is also a suffering we may face in our marriages? (Of a wife married to a non believing husband) This is the context he is speaking of at the beginning of this chapter. Just curious to know how God has revealed himself to you about suffering within marriage. Thank so much for your time!

Suffering comes in many shapes and sizes. Some suffering comes from other people, some from natural events, and some we bring upon ourselves. Certainly, there is some degree of spiritual tension when one spouse is a Christian and the other is not. Whatever the situation might be, we all need to live in a way which, as Paul writes to Titus, "adorns the doctrine of God our Savior in all things". (Titus 2:10) Marriage is a place where we can certainly live in such a way to make the Christuian life a beautiful thing to behold. May the Lord strengthen your heart. Blessings!

Actually God's order is clear as He appointed Kings to lead. 1 Corinthians 11:3 “But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.”

I think I read your article and I am glad I found the actual teaching. I need understanding what this verse is really talking about. I can not say for sure that my husband is an unbeliever but I can say that our marriage has been bearing godly fruits. I have some contributions to that because I handle my husband unacceptable behavior harshly, I don't know how to be gentle when I feel attack or under pressure or unloved. But I feel the holy spirit wants me to be. How can I be submissive in this situation? Husband comes home drunk, I am upset but I don't talk now he starts saying things like where have you been all day, or wants to address a fight we had but I know that he is not in the right frame of mind to remember or understand it so I refrain from having the talk and he sees that as me being arrogant and starts another fight. What can I do in such case

I am so sorry to hear of your suffering within your marriage! I’m praying for your strength to endure and for discernment from the Holy Spirit! The Lord is so near! We can access him any time. Praying your husbands deliverance! I have that same question! Hoping to hear from the pastor!

"There are prayers that God will not answer as long as you're being a jerk as a husband."

Why is it that you are focused on what the man should be doing? You need to be focused on what YOU as a woman should be doing and leave the instructions to men to their head, Jesus.

Again, why are you concerned with men. Have you mastered the instructions given to you as a women? I can tell you that you haven't or you would not be speaking words that pertain to men.

They touched and betrayed the priesthood. 1. You don't tell the church what to do. 2. You don't tell the church what to do. 3. You don't tell the church what to do. We clear.

Some of his teachings are borderline blasphemous. Not sure what bible he's reading but each person needs to read those verses from the most authentic source possible. The NKJV is not reliable.

"The Bible nowhere teaches a general submission of women unto men." "Male Leadership" 1. Church 2. Home "That's it." "There's no general subordination in the scriptures of women unto men."
@j.p.5716 Жыл бұрын
Actually this is not really correct. Men are clearly called to lead in the home. Men are clearly called to lead in the church. But consider this. What is a town but a collection of homes and churches? What is a state but a collection of towns. What is a country than a collection of states? Does it really make sense that women cannot lead in the home or church but can lead out in society? Makes no sense whatsoever. The truth is that women do not belong in politics, economics, business, education, so forth and so on to begin with. Women are called to be keepers at home.
