Awesome vid! This makes me want to go record digging. Bargains like this are few and far between anymore. But still so much fun when you find some hidden gems!!

Thanks for taking us along on this trip, Heath! Very mellow and fun watch :) I probably would have grabbed that Donny photo and put it up on my shelf just for a laugh 😎

This is no joke - when I was watching you flip through these, I found myself instinctively stopping on the ones I wanted, and my hand reaching out to try and snag them.

Love Tavares. I like there rendition of More Than A Woman better. They are in my play list when I do my morning walking.

Reminds me of the days I would comb through the racks at the Goodwill back in the late 60s! How did you ever keep it down to a mere dozen(ish)? Nice score on the Wanda Jackson and LIVE Gene Autry! If you swing back there, you should the "Dean Martin Show" disc. You wouldn't think it, but this one is Dino's "Pet Sounds" to me. An aching and sensuous make-out record with lovely orchestrations and smooth as vanilla vocals. My favorite overall Martin album. You scored yourself some fine vinyl, and great to see you flexing creatively.

Wild! I was there earlier today. It was a little too crowded to browse by the time I got there but I still snagged a few sweet cassettes. Best record store in the state!

Dang Heath..., I'd of grabbed that Lulu Belle & Scotty album! 08:20... it's classic psych! Plus, Every Mothers' Son 08:00 ,which is decent pop, with 4 pop/psych moody songs on it. It's the more consistent of their two albums.

A lot of the stuff in this video that I didn't buy was either too beat up to play or I already have it. Some great stuff!

I'm not keen on music or into vinyl records but I go to this store called Needledrop record shop that mainly sells records. But he sells all sort of physical media like movies on VHS, DVD and Blu-ray, videogames and books. He also does special orders for the clients which is how I buy my collector's boxed sets and 4Ks. Wow so many records for a $1. Good hunting and cool video Heath!👉🙂👈

Heath! You need to make a list of awesome 2nd hand stores you find stuff aka physical media at. I cannot for the life of me find golden gems like you do. It could be a store in Alabama or up north somewhere-but list shops you have had great experiences would be fantastic! It could be roadtrip destinations for some of us! We need to know where these spots are

I don't think it's any particular shops, but the fact that I go and hunt. I don't have any great secrets. I hit the same thrift stores every few weeks, and my local record store has always been good for blowing out cheap records. You just have to put in the time to hunt. I'll say this: Avoid 2nd and Charles. They're hucksters and robbers. I took in two $200 comics hardcovers to see what they'd offer me and they told me they'd give me $1 each. The days of finding deals at most brick and mortar stores and flea markets are mostly over, but when you check often enough, you can find gold.

@@CerealAtMidnightthnx for the heads up. With everything going digital, it’s harder to find good 2nd hand on physical media regardless if it’s CD’s, Books or movies. The 90’s and early 2000’s was an awesome time for physical media thifting

Wow, nothing like the dollar bins. I've always been a bargain bin digger as well. Saw a lot of 60s country in there Unfortunately, I've been told by several record store owners that older countries, for the most part, are not good sellers. That's the only country i enjoy cant stand the so-called country of today, but to each, there own right..

Odds of finding collectible $1 records. At a flea market 25%. At a yard sale 35%. At a record store 2%.
