I enjoyed this. I did a cello challenge with my niece and mother. She was showing off. Like young instrumentalists do. A little arrogant, but still cute. She challenged me to play after I had given her some bowing tips. The whole "you don't know" attitude. I'm like, ok. I picked up her cello and played the music she had set up. It was my first time holding a cello. She was shocked. Then accused me of lying to her. I had only played the violin in school for 2 years. 25+ years before. I even told her that Grandma (my mom) had also played violin in school. 45+ years before. She said prove it again. My mom, who had never touched a cello either, played the same piece. My niece was shocked again. I was proud of my 2 minutes on the cello. Considering that I hadn't played a violin in many years, it was like riding a bike.
