I don't think I've ever been more excited for a Bandai product launch. I thought the original 30mm was a neat little experiment, and I didn't really get into it until they started getting really experimental around Wave 3 or so, and the 30ms was effectively just a cheap way of getting figures in the style of Frame Arms Girl on the shelf. But THIS, this is something special. I have always loved the merging of sci-fi and fantasy, and especially within mecha, I have ALWAYS loved the more humanoid mecha like in Gundam, The Big O, Gurren Lagann, etc, so this is just a match made in heaven. I will buy every single one of these kits, because, OMG, I have so many custom ideas, paint schemes, dioramas. These are amazing.

The fun thing with the 30 Minute series of model kits is that you don't have to use everything in the sets plus you can mix and match with compatible parts (I made a custom 30MS build and only used half of the parts from the stealth armor set, plus parts from other kits)

@zacharyradford5552 I wouldn't say so. With MG Gundam Vidar and the rest of the Seed kits announced, I think Banadai is doing fine on the Gundam Front. They just need to not invest money into the failure that is Metaverse, and focus on more kits that aren't Premium Bandai fodder.

30MF feels like a set that you could make some Saint Seiya style mythical beasts into its second or third year. It really takes me back. Especially to the Digimon Frontier Toys I had as a child.

Sorry if I'm yapping, I just love the idea of this entire series. I see a lot of people saying that this is a 30MM version of Bionicle and I can see why with the elemental cores and interchangeable parts. I really love the terms used whenever you upgrade or change their jobs (Level Change and Job Change). Gives me Kamen Rider vibes.

I find it interesting Bionicle is the first comparison people make, though I do see the resemblance on some of the designs. I personally get more of a Knights Kingdom vibe from these new kits, plus I've always felt 30MM reminded me of the best parts of Hero Factory.

Just built the 30MF Liber Knight. The articulation on this kit is genuinely insane. I can not believe they were able to get this amount of flexibility with a simplistic construction like this. I'm having so much fun just simply posing this guy. Truly peak desk toy material, lol. I got my Liber Knight + Holy Knight armor on Amazon for $30. Probably more expensive than it should be, but I think it was well worth it since you get both the Knight and holy Knight class up armors in the box.

The last armor expansion reminds me of the Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog (an american take on power rangers with some celtic mythology. It was very weird but I loved it as a kid)

they already announced a lot of *class up armor* sets for 30MF 📢 if you're unaware, there Holy Knight, Paladin, Warrior, Viking, Bishop and Item Shop "add-on armor" sold separately for *Liber* and *Rosan* character rn the only available character for 30MF is *Liber Knight* but later (next month if not mistaken) they would release *Rosan Knight* and the Rosan add-on armor sold separately not just that there also *Fighter, Priest* and *Archer* for the following date later for the Liber & Rosan faction

Only thing I didn't like is that you can't raise the arms past the shoulder level if you have the shoulder armor on

Speaking of shoulder articulation, the butterfly joints only let you swing forward, not back, so it kinda gets limiting too in terms of range of motion. Though it means your knights can easily lean in and do the iaido draw, or fold their arms.
