its no mystery,,, its very simple, they don't understand light... is anything really traveling or is it a disturbance in the medium. Like sound..

You're right, both sound and light are disturbances that spread from their sources. Sound waves travel through a mechanical medium like air, while light waves are disturbances in the electromagnetic field. Similarly, electrons have wave-like properties and their behavior is described by the electron field, a quantum field. Just as light is made up of quantized excitations called photons, electrons are quantized excitations of the electron field.
