1 Tip to be Mentally Positive During a Running Setback

In addition to an update, I hope to provide advice and guidance on how to maintain focus and positivity in your running when going through a setback. We've all been sidelined from our beloved sport-whether it be from injury, stress, lack of motivation, lack of success, etc-today I share a nice, simple, positive exercise that's helped me stay the course over the last few months. I hope you'll enjoy.

Hi I am sure I'm more than double your age I've aged 100 years I don't look like this little KZbin picture but I just want to suggest that perhaps you're just being too hard on yourself and that you're really good person, you care you've been trying to help people who tune in to your KZbin channel. You clearly love running. I no longer can run I haven't run in so long. I never thought I'd be able to run again because my knees are shot everything shot but for some reason Saturday morning I got up and I ran. I've been doing toe exercises and I tried Vibram toe shoes. I ran slowly and the first thing was I got a nod from the runner and made me so happy I missed the running community so much all these years. Against my better judgment I went out the next morning and ran towards the end I tried to run faster now the bottom of my L foot feels bruised - metatarsals - it's kind of crushing -- that's how I found you on KZbin I was listening to one of your KZbin.... Rice rest ice compression elevation maybe I'll give it a go and just try in a week or so but I can't express to you how awesome the community of running around the world is. Even if you don't hang out and nod from a fellow runner - too me is a slice of joy. Ranch to New York City marathons 91 and 92 when I just saw the metals they reminded me of my great love achievement and the wonderful amazing amazing diverse people they came out to support us. kzbin.info/www/bejne/joukZ6ZslLiqa6s When I found this I got up I never thought I'd go out running something just changed in me I didn't brush my teeth as you can see but the greatest thing is the smile and the joy of something I have missed so much. I've been through a very Traumatic event violent attack over seven years ago and I wasn't able to use running to help me to cope I miss running so much I hope this Bruce bone goes away and I can try another attempt at some small gentle running.
