To me, he's a cheap Charlie. In my experience, good Thai ladies always like to bring someone along on their 1st data so they feel safe with a stranger they have never met.

Many comments are suggesting he was a cheap / stingy man, I don't think it is entirely true. He was paying for all the dinner dates and the holiday, plus agreed to paying for lessons. Sure not paying for her sisters dinner was a mistake, but otherwise he was proceeding with caution. I think Peter is correct, she was more interested in the financial side of it, also probably had meet another guy who in her eyes was a better option. At the end of the day did the guy a favour and not prolong it further, next time just pay for a holiday girlfriend

What happened was that she was just playing you along to see what she could get. You were probably one of several guys that she was stringing along. Early on she realize that you were cheap. But she thought maybe she could get something out of you after a while, but it was always kind of borderline in her head. She always wondered if the time and effort would be worth what she could get from you? After wasting too much time on you. She probably thought at least she could get a holiday mini break out of you. In theory, this sounded good, and she probably imagining that you would become a big spender at the resort and that she could get some stuff for herself like clothes, beauty salon, massage, and a Lotta drinks around the pool. But then she was faced with the actual reality of the trip. That maybe you booked a cheap ass room in a mediocre resort Where there wasn’t a lot of fancy resort, shops or something like that. So now her worst suspicions had been confirmed. That you were kind of a cheap ass guy who she had wasted too much time on a normal ultimately wouldn’t be getting anything out of . that reality check really pissed her off. She completely dropped any pretense of liking you. Because that takes effort to constantly be manufacturing a false reality. She just became 100% her self and showed that she really did not like you at all and decided just to be bitchy to you so you would definitely not have any ideas of getting physical with her. then all she wanted to do was to get out of that situation as fast as she could. Realizing that you would not be buying her a next day return ticket she had to get the money from somewhere else. Her sister, or a friend or even another guy that she was stringing along … It was nothing to do with the guy’s real age. She really could not care less. How old is. He’s just another sucker. She can see he is way older than her just by looking at his face. It was also nothing to do with anything he said or did not say to her in particular. It was mostly to do with him being cheap. And her thinking that she might get something eventually. There are literally millions and millions of girls like this. To play the tourist for suckers. All around the Caribbean. Latin America. southeast Asia and particularly Thailand. If there’s a massive age difference. Anywhere in the world. Then money has to compensate for that difference. It’s a simple as that. These girls will play the game and give their young beautiful selves to a ugly old wrinkled man because they are dirty poor and desperate for cash. This is OK if you realize it for what it is. It is an economic exchange. It’s like hiring somebody to give you a massage. Don’t expect the massage person to fall in love with you. Just enjoy it for what it is. Realize it’s all short term and 95% bullshit and just leave it at that. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Personally, I think it was all a scam - She just wanted money from him (for the ''English lesson'') but didn't want to give him anything in return. Proof is the teacher never showed up because there's no teacher to begin with. I'm sorry Peter but I don't agree with you that's ''Normal'' for young women to be with older men. It's always about _long term_ money. When I stayed in Thailand for a year, I slept with at least a dozen women who were in ''relationship'' with older foreigner. They stay with old men for security, like a job but they still crave younger men for pleasure and validation. It's not really different here in the west, kinda like sugar/daddy type relationship.

First mistake was lying about age, second was stating wouldn’t pay for sister. If money was an issue, he could have gone to a less expensive restaurant with them. Then he boycotted the relationship by constantly questioning it with negative thoughts. My thoughts are that the girl was initially attracted to him but eventually realized he was insecure and not ready for a relationship with a Thai lady.

Generally, the older guy is expected to financially take care of a younger, pretty girl in exchange for company and sex. There is usually not a lot of love involved on her part, but it can develop in time. If she is a bar or freelance girl, there is a fair chance she will have a younger bit on the side, probably Thai. It is brutal, but it is what it is.

I agree with your assesment, however, one thing he did totally wrong was going to fancy restaurants with her but not having money for a teacher or her sister. As he actually said, it is in their culture to bring a relative or friend along for the first date, so he should have sucked it up and pay for that. Also, just go shopping with her for a trip. You got a beautiful, young Thai lady that actually does have an honest job, don't be cheap as you obviously can afford it. Show your appreciation and honer her to a level that she feels special. The last thing, that was totally wrong is asking or talking to a western woman about this stuff. They have no clue about Thai women and think way to complicated. He should have just let it be and have 2 beds. If the chemistry is great, you will end up in just one bed, but don't make her uncomfortable with something like this.

Mine was a hooker whom I knew her in my previous visits and she was always a great fun to be with. However, in my recent trip, while in Koh chang with her, she suddenly turned absolute cold for no reason that I know of. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt until it reached in the evening when we were getting ready for a night out, I then couldn't stand it and I confronted her face to face and she had nothing to say for her coldness, just saying that she was fine. I then told here she is free to leave if she wants before tomorrow morning and I was quite happy to make the necessary arrangements for her to leave the Island. To my surprise, over the course of the night with few drinks, she once again got into the mood becoming amazingly joyous full of charms and laughter and when we were back to the hotel, I noticed that the aerobics also became even better than what I had ever experienced before. To date, I am still intrigued to find an explanation for such an episode. I guess it is all part and parcel of the fun in the land of smile 😊.

What these guys have to remember is. All these girls know how to be a straighten on his girlfriend. But also all these girls know how to be a complete and 100% user and Manipulator. The next thing you have to understand is, it’s not one or the other. It doesn’t work like that. There is a whole sliding scale from one end to the other end. Imagine a scale from 1 to 10. We are one is a complete an awesomely, honest, devoted girlfriend who wants nothing from you but your love. Then at the other end is number 10 where you have a complete 100% manipulative use a woman who wants nothing from you then your money . How these girls can move around the scale, depending what they need financially at the time and how they size you up. There is also another scaling operation, which is the time scale. Whether they are seeing you as short to medium turn or long term. So for this guy, she might be say a full on the scale of using him. But she realizes he’s a bit of a sap. But may be one day she’ll hit the jackpot of marriage and him paying for everything. Social keep stringing him along for a while to see how it plays out. She already sized him up as a cheap ass. But maybe she can get him for a bigger pay off over a longer period of time. One thing that Weston men need to drill into their heads. Is that none of these young pretty girls want to be with a wrinkled up old fart who could be the dad or granddad. They just don’t. Would you want to be with a 50 year old woman when you were 20? They are sacrificing the best years of their life for money prostituting themselves for cash. They are playing the long game of the short game. they are going hard-core or medium. but at the end of the day they ain’t giving away their best years to granddad for free!! The only way you would really stand a chance of getting a genuine girlfriend in Thailand. Would be to live in Thailand for several years, learn to speak Thai fluently. Understand and learn their culture and then find somebody somewhat age appropriate. Anything that is not that. Then you can assume you are being used. These girls are short term only and pay as you go with small amounts of money. That’s it.

Peter. With your experience and story telling history. I really think you short creat fictional stories. Steve Roses does this and creates a storied using dolls. Now I’m not suggesting you use dolls. But it could be a great way to use your experience in creating entertainment. Maybe not every week. Once a month ?

I have a suggestion you should welcome people who have stories other than Thailand stories for example Philippines stories or other Asian countries that’s a suggestion you should consider im pretty sure some of these guys who went to Thailand probably went to Philippines as well.
