So let me get this straight, Rayquaza EX, a card that arguably should be one of the highest chase cards that isn't a goldstar, doesn't even cover half of the pack's value in a PSA 9? Does no one see that and question why the hell EX Deoxys is that overpriced to open? I get you have the chance of a PSA 10 gold star but that's a around 1/72 chance to pull a gold star in the first place, let alone getting a PSA 10 from opening it is highly unlikely.

Um the purpose of pokemon cards is not to make money and profit... the purpose is to get cards and play the game. EX Deoxys was a set at the time that was not printed very much so it is a rarer set, thus making the price of the packs higher. Has nothing to do with the cards inside of it...

You are paying for a chance at getting something, it's more about opportunity and experience than a guarantee. I mean, I probably wouldnt even attempt to open the higher end packs because your chances arent great at hitting it big. I'd trade them or keep them sealed and put them away for a rainy day.

I understand sealed products cost more but there is no excuse on the packs being $800 USD. Especially when one of the best hit cards in the set doesn't even equal the price of a single pack in a higher grade.

What I know about the 25th anniversary set is that most of the sets best cards (Charizard, Umbreon, and shiny Magikarp) are not in the booster packs. Those came in one card promo packs. The best card to pull from those packs are shiny mew.

Difference in the celebration packs are the 25th anniversary logo, the Holo foil pattern on last card, they don't contain any of the celebration classic set as those are exclusive to the white promo packs, and they also have the Pikachu V union cards in them.

Imo, the Japanese 25th Anniversary cards look better than the English. Great content as always Leonhart! 🔥 My favorite pack is with zero hesitation the EX Deoxys pack solely because Deoxys is my favorite legendary of all time. Being able to hit on any of the forms on top of the Rayquazas and Gold Stars? I love it!
