I got a 70/80 speaker self build with perfect air thermic for my dads band record room with a external 2000 w amplifer and a thinkpad to play audio. Around 200 db and up. Speaker cappable of 8 diverse channels. Tube amplifer and transistor amplifer. 200 to 210 cm xy. Hmmmmmmmm......

Devialet is also quite "audiophile" if you have the Gold one. Rest is a bit more consumer focussed. Still better value available (KEF for example) but I love my Phantom subwoofer

I use LG Xbooms. You can buy a few and make them into surround systems. Waterproof, 80 bucks each (you can find them discounted sometimes), portable, made by Meridian which is pretty cool too. Would recommend even having one.
