RoC dota was like AoS. Allstars was a ganky new map style. RoC forced a team effort to win no matter what. Allstars introduced the ability for one person to carry/win. I like the forced team version. And ud vs ne with specific heroes to each side. You could also team share gold.

22:54 was the turning point of the game and it was so cool to watch. The dude weakened you and drove you out on both fronts, and for a moment he thought he was safe. You heal your Warden and Avatar simultaneously, swoop back in from both sides, and take out the Shadow Hunter who was hexing you the whole game. That Shadow Hunter was the only thing holding you back. Once he was dead and you were suddenly at full health, the guy knew it was over.

Undead needs statues to tri-hero because they don’t have a good way to get mana. Orc has a similar idea problem, but can sort of do it because of blade. Human can definitely do it with almost any combination involving AM because of brilliance. NE is obviously the best at it because mass moon wells is health and mana.

playing against it would be pretty easy tbh a solo hero has power over long drawn out fights, but cant kill armys very quickly, you can easily just pressure them and win especially as ork, when you see this happening just crank out a bunch of raiders and push his base in, he cant defend it and with their siege damage they will smash down his base pretty quickly

Frankly, on more casual MMR it must be pretty solid. People gonna struggle with controls, both you and opponent so as long as comp is somewhat viable and it's easier to control is usually the win. Though it kinda depends on the matchup, Undead can burst heroes easily, Human in tier 3 will just build 3 tanks and you won't be able to stop them though that's tier 3 and enemy definitely gonna be tilted by strat like that so chances he won't play optimal are massively increased xd

I used to do this strat in 4v4s. A lot of the time it wouldn't work, but sometimes you would get some of the most epic and hilarious games where you get a level 10 unkillable Warden running around soloing multiple armies.

I play warden only, 20 years already, let me tell you what could be done better: 1. you must use mana potion every time you do hit and run 2. you must use antimagic potion every time you do hit and run 3. you must use as many invulnerability potions as you can 4. you need blink only leveled 1 time, it is just to escape, your main attack is done by fan warden can eliminate 5-6 trolls on a single fight also you can kill shaman in two wards

Yeah, and also in general not building unit is like a deliberate handicap challenge. If you build a few huntresses and do hit and run with the warden on separate locations, it can really mess with your opponent's head. You can blink harass peons once, then send a few huntresses in to harass next time, and send warden to creep jack. The old school solo warden build was actually grossly OP until they had to nerf warden to the ground after many patches. With how most maps nowadays have tavern, warden is actually quite viable still.

It happened to me 1 year ago. It meant to be a nooby-casual 3v3 but apparently the other team were high ranks smurfing and memering. I got really salty with this. They build the team with synergy. Warden, DK and Lich with infinite life and mana, 1-shooting units and soloing our entire army. 😪

Opponent wasn't exactly stupid but I think they might have been unaware of some mechanics like the tavern respawn. I think a more aware player would have realized you had no choice there but to use tavern, and would have ambushed your wisp to contain the threat. But hey backseating is easy and hindsight 20/20.

Orc didn't seem to know what to do to adapt. Raiders with Ensnare and the ability to destroy buildings FAST (also Pillage), and (if needed) Bats with Liquid Fire to destroy buildings and semi-shut-down Ancient Protectors.

Just mass raiders with Few demolishers = EZ WIN for orc. Pillage research needed too. Heroes choices are pretty good there. Hex and Stomp for CC.

When you said Pimp my peon at the end, I was blown away, because we used to do Pimp my Mortred back in old school Dota where we were a couple of friends who picked buff heroes like Ogre, Magnus and Omniknight and let our PA (sometimes the random on our team) get free regen and bottle etc. and proceed to wreck the enemy team at level 6 😂

Ggwp, But I simply don’t understand how this worked. Are you using your regular grubby account and are up against 2000 MMR opponents? This guy continuously sent one headhunter after another to just be slaughtered by you. Too often the shadow Hunter just stood right in melee range of your warden and practically let itself die. This guy can’t possibly be equal in MMR to you, he seemed REALLY bad.

Great strategy. But what would happen if your enemy was so aggressive (like Chuddy_annoying W3). He's often 1-man-army and harasses his opponent very early. I believe if you 2 vs, it's a crazy must watch game.

this strategy is really strong, my main has always been NE and I reached a really high rating only doing this. It beats a lot of good players and I even lost games to people with normal strategies but won with this. You need high level with warden, harassing is not as important as getting level 5 fast. Also in my experience (over 500 games or more just playing this) it doesn't work against another nelf, works really well against all 3 other races though. With this being said Grubby being Grubby is probably miles better than me even with this strategy.. But I don't understand why you didn't sell your gloves for circlet. I usually have 4 circlets boots and venom. Then sell 1 circle if I really need invu pot or something. But all stats is really important and more hp, mana and arm from circlet is better than the attack speed from gloves.
