that's wrong use of word tbh. What he meant is Absorbing from other people, Because to STEAL= meaning to actually take someone else work and claim it as yours. he use the word Steal, but the meaning he explain it actually " Studying them " also the next explanation about don't be a copycat or an idiot , because if u copy from 1, u will only be the watered down version of the original artist.

Everything mentioned here is in Marc brunet art school in greater detail … also not design to get in the game art industry is mean to learn art and you choose what to specialize in ….. teaches you foundation and fundamentals to all arts weather your drawing characters, environments , creatures even zbrush …. There’s just no better course out there with that much value for that price ❤

I want to ask something. Do you recommend practicing traditional art or digital art if i'm gonna draw digitally at the end? Like i'm planning to get enrolled in a drawing course in my city which prepares for art school exams but do you think it'd be helpful if i'm not gonna make traditional art? Thanks for the video btw it's actually insightful.

Traditional translates well to digital imo since all the fundamentals still apply. The only thing is getting used to the different workflows and tactile sensations. I'd say do both if you can afford the time/money. Take the traditional course to build up your core knowledge and skills while familiarizing yourself with digital in your free time. There are pros and cons both ways.

A traditional art course would be helpful for digital art aswell, yes. The fundamentals are the same in both digital and traditional. Drawing is also very mechanically similar in both digital and traditional, whereas with painting theres a lot to get used to for that specific medium. Its also always good to try new mediums and experiment. I didnt think i would paint traditionally, but since trying it at art school im already very attached to watercolors. And most importantly- do what is fun.

Excellent video sir, thankyou, but the wrong use of word about " to steal " is what really concerning. becasuse what you actually describe in ur explanation is to " Studying part of their style " which is normal. , but that's not stealing. because to steal, meaning u take somebody else work , u gain something Without Effort, + while the victim lose all their work. ( illegal action ) while studying is normal thing.
