Hey! I just realised that I could have shared the video that done the least well for me in the analytics section of this video but I forgot! So here it is 😅 Only just passed 100 views! But it was a bit of a passion video for me as it combined an artwork from seeing my favourite band and clips from their concert! So I love it even though it did rubbish 😂 kzbin.info/www/bejne/jHq4eYCVm753gbMsi=27dDJolr56BsjP8j

Hi Amber! Thank you for your video, it was very inspiring to me. I have a very small channel. And I had in mind to have an art channel like yours, but somehow I ended up only posting bujo videos until now. Your painting in this video made me want to take a chance and let myself create and post more art. I also have some insecurities while recording videos, especially while speaking. Some people can attack us right where we hurt. But I've also learned that many more good people come along and leave a much bigger impact. Seeing people come back to share our passion is much more rewarding than any hardship, and your video reminded me of that.💛

Thank you so much for watching! ☺️ I’m so glad it’s inspired you. I think the most important thing is to always just try and make the videos that you feel excited about because if you don’t you will get bored so quick! I’m currently going through this with my next video as I promised a brand I would make a video but I don’t have the heart in it right now at all 😂 I think the more you record you will get over your insecurities more and more. I have. And there are those people who project their own insecurities onto others on KZbin and in real life. I’ve seen it but I’ve been lucky enough to have only received lovely comments from lovely people so far 🩵

Adorable little coffee shop, so charming! Thanks so much for sharing. 😊 I just “restarted” for the third time just this month. It’s off to a much better start this time so I am hopeful. I am so glad to hear your story, because I am very bad at committing to things as well. Your video seems just right, simple is often best!

Thank you so much for watching! I’m glad you enjoyed it. I am almost surprised at myself for keeping up with KZbin for over a year now but every time I feel lazy or I can’t be bothered with it I just think about how good it’s been for me and how I am building something for myself, by myself and that feels amazing! And it’s not just for me, hopefully others enjoy my channel too. Good luck to you! ☺️

@@Little_Ammy_Arts Thank you. 😊 You know, I think this time I'm a little more confident with the video editing, which has a bit of a learning curve, don't you think? It was really a barrier at first because I knew it would be an added difficulty besides actually getting to the art. But now I have a little system down. Even though they are terrible - which is totally fine! - the videos are even a little fun and satisfying to do now. I think if you don't get to that point with the editing part, then KZbin is extra hard. I do love that eventually there is the added bonus of talking to other folks doing art on KZbin. I don't think I said, but congrats on a year, wow!😊 The years are going by too fast, so maybe we'll chat again same time next year. If you're also in the US, it may be a rough (few years) but I think art will help us.

Love that you shared all this information! I am a new art channel myself so this was really nice to watch! Thank you for sharing! Also, when it comes to the dislikes on your channel… my mindset has been to just laugh at it. I just keep thinking like, wow this person went out of their way to dislike something rather then just move on haha😂 the dedication! And then I just wish whoever it was a good day.

Thank you so much for watching! I’m glad you found it interesting. Your mindset is the right one! It stings at first but then I adopt that mindset myself pretty much and just think ‘well I didn’t want them here anyway’ 🤣 It’s the video likes and nice comments we should give our attention to! ☺️

Makes me wish I had the gumption to put my art into the wider arena. I'm just...eh, who wants to watch a middle aged lady. hahah! Sooooo much love for your videos, and your little pinkie finger 🥰 You've been a favourite since before the podcast, and you're fast becoming a favourite KZbinr...behind Nerdforge, obvs! Staying true to yourself, and allowing yourself the freedom to explore your creativity this past couple of years has been so inspiring to watch. Keep going my friend xxx

You have a new subscriber. I really loved watching your process and I loved how you didn't buckle to the pressure to apologize for making art haul videos. I love them too. My opinion is that if art haul videos bother you or somehow offend you....don't watch them! Simple.

Thank you so much for subscribing! And I appreciate your comment. I just have a problem with people blaming others for their problems 😂 I realise that there’s so much temptation out there and what with constant material things being shoved in front of our faces with advertising and TV etc but to be annoyed with small art channels for sharing their love of art and art supplies with you. So silly.

@@Little_Ammy_Arts you're welcome and I completely agree. People are too sensitive and as you said, always looking to place blame.

Hi Amber I love your videos, came across it when searching for watercolours for beginners. Slowly making my way though your backlist of videos. I love how down to earth you are, being a fellow Brit helps. 😊 As for negative comments, your husband is correct you’ll get this online and just people passing each other in the street. Sadly it’s human nature to make a split second decision on someone, it’s not right but hold on to your artsy friends on here and ignore the rest. X

Hi Christina, thank you so much for watching and also for subscribing! 😄 Ahh, a fellow Brit! I forgot to mention in this video how since having a channel I’ve realised I don’t know how to pronounce anything 🤦🏻♀️🤣 I appreciate your comment! And you’re right, people are quick to make decisions on others. I’ve been guilty of that in the past too. It’s something I’ve worked on! And I would say I am an open minded person so I’d love for people to comment so we can chat instead of leaving a thumbs down. But it’s okay, we don’t have to agree on everything do we! But I very much appreciate people like you here, so thank you! 🩵

I know this is going to be somewhat disjointed as I want to comment on several things. For some reason in December I started watching art haul videos. Yours popped up on my feed, I watched it and that is when I subscribed to your channel. Glad I could help you reach your goals. I never watch videos where people are talking about their relationship with KZbin, as it never interested me, but for some reason today I decided to watch this one and found it very interesting. Thank you for putting yourself out there. I have never given anybody a thumbs down and don’t understand why people do that instead of just turning it off. Lastly, I want you to know that I absolutely love your painting. I love all the detail and your color palette. Thank you.

Thank you for your lovely comment! I’m not surprised the art haul popped up for you, I think most of my subscribers have come from the hauls 😄 I’m glad you enjoyed this video and found it interesting! I feel like I made it much longer than it could have been but I’ve come to the conclusion now that my videos are just longer because I can’t stop talking 😂 That’s how I feel about the thumbs down thing. I mean it’s okay, and not everyone has to agree with you obviously! I’m a very open minded person and I’d rather people leave me a comment so we can chat instead of leaving a thumbs down but oh well! It is what it is! Thanks for your kind words on my artwork too! I’m really glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching x

I never have either. In fact every video I watch I thumbs up, even if I don’t enjoy it and turn it off. I think it’s because I know effort went into it. just because a video is not my cup of tea doesn’t mean It’s bad.

Interesting video, thanks. I suspect that KZbin promotes the Favourite Supplies videos in December because artists are looking for gifts (for ourselves of course! 😊) for Christmas. We like to know whether a product is good and worth getting. KZbin probably gets some affiliate money (along with the KZbinr if they have affiliate links) if viewers purchase some of the items shown. I remember looking at a couple of these videos and I got loads more to see in my feed. I wish I had enough confidence to do a KZbin channel but at 61, I don’t think I’ll be doing so anytime soon. 😀 I’ll just enjoy those of you, like you, that do! 😀
