Got this same chair several months ago. It's a really great chair, but my one issue is how hard the seat is. It's much better on my back than my old chair was, but it is so much harder on my butt. After I had the chair for a couple of months, I would start to have a really sore rear end after a day of work sitting in it. I ended up buying an extra seat cushion off of Amazon. It's still quite firm, but the extra cushion has helped.

I definitely concur. Its a great chair most definitely, but the seat after an extended amount of time can definitely be unbearable. It was the armrest at first and after I rectified that, the seat was next. Thankfully I switched to the Embody Gaming chair and its nice. I still have my SecretLab though lol

Considering the chair came with it's own lumbar, I was fine and never considered getting the pillow in my opinion. However my opinion would be pretty invalid since I never bought it so I don't think I'm the right person to ask 😅

It has a suede feel to it and no not a soft gel, but, compared to the original, you'll want this. It's just a memory foam but very needed! I understand the sore and ashy elbows 💯

In that retrospect, get the small. I have some room but The back of your knee will rub against the front part of the seat unless you scoot up in the chair. It's personally never been an issue for me however, if that is one of the concerns and I definitely advise getting the small

I bought this chair today and I’m waiting for it to be shipped. But considering its price the armrests that come on it should be premium and high quality ones. You should not have to upgrade at this price point. Companies these days truly do suck and do this kind of stuff to rob you of even more money.

quality review my dude. 100% spot on saying the stock armrests are comfortable to an extent. I so close to buying these plushcell ones, I just gotta ask. a year later, were they worth the investment?

Thank you for watching my man! I will have to say, as I still have the armrests, I don't use the chair as I have moved onto a different chair. I still have the Secret Lab and the armrests but my opinion wouldn't really do you any good as I didn't put it to work this whole time. I will say however, considering how the original Secret Lab armrests made my elbows feels after small time of using it, these armrests I would say is definitely a good investment. Plus, after thinking about it, business wise, I feel Secret Lab knew this and made a good profit with this. Nonetheless, definitely worth it. Again though, I only used it for a few months before switching to a new chair. Hope this helps ya by any means!

No funny business...could you give me your opinion on the smell of the seat covering please. I.e. the sides/back etc. My chair is just over a month old and I've been told it's not great. I thought it was just a general smell this fabric gives. But now I am double and thinking of chasing up secretlabs. I have the spray to clean this chair. But don't think it rectifies the issue. No funny business taken, I understand what you mean. When it comes to new products, I won't lie I like the smell of brand new stuff lol. When it comes to the secret lab chair, and I first got it, the smell was just fine. It didn't really give off anything very distinctive. Even after a year of owning it, it's still the same smell. And I sat in this chair everyday for work, editing, and just gaming. I put a lot of hours into it. To this day, there's still no smell on the chair. Hope I answered your question to the best of my abilities! 😁

I can only be honest my friend. I will definitely say if you do think about buying this chair definitely get the memory foam armrest with it. The armrest that comes with the chair are okay, but with prolonged use those elbows will be aching. Other than that, the chair is really good! Just of course make sure you get the right size that fits with your height. 🤙🏾

Absolutely, my pleasure! Glad I can help. And I'm 5ft 7. The regular is just right for me as that is the starting height. Haven't had any issues. Tha max is 6ft 2in for the regular size and the XL is 5ft 11 to 6ft 9. If you're right at 6 ft I would definitely say XL as you can adjust the height to your needs. 6ft is definitely the sweet spot for that.
