So nice to see you again! I remember finding you when the imposter syndrome around starting a maths degree was hitting hard. Your videos helped convince me that I was ready, and now I'm in my second year! I found you so reassuring and now seeing you in your grad role is super motivating! I'd love to do something like that once o finish my degree! Please don't feel any pressure from us to upload if it doesn't work for you, but I'd love to hear more about your role, your new flat, whatever youre finding interesting to film!

I think the first thing to say is ‘Well done for saying all that’. It’s not easy to talk about mental health issues, and very often we don’t understand the whys and wherefores when we are suffering. I am acutely aware that the early years after graduation are not easy. Sounds like you’re doing really well, having started with an accountancy firm, and getting through umpteen exams. These will open lots of doors for you! Also really glad you are enjoying the arithmetic side - one of my favourite subjects for sure!

Oh I’ve missed you! I came back to your channel to see if you’d uploaded a few times as I was wondering how you were. I’m so happy to hear about your job and your mental health update is in line with what you’ve previously posted so it was nice for you to share an update with that as well. I’m sorry to hear about your experience with that doctor/gp but needing extra time is perfectly okay and I hope that you got it or will get it sorted out. Life is a bit odd atm but life’s a journey isn’t it. Every aspect of our lives is in a constant ebb and flow. Personally I real my enjoyed your thrift hauls, maybe you could do a video on how you found the lockdowns but idk maybe no one wants to dwell on the pandemic lol hmm Im sorry but I can’t think of any other requests atm but honestly I’ll watch anything you post because you’re so talented and charismatic ☺️

I'm interested in your videos, I've faced a lot of difficult times on my life, almost no one needed to or at least even tried to understand my psychological issues, living in a society that believes a stereotype clone human is more better than a special mindful human who does differ from others positively, showing resistance to all good ideas you acknowledge, even more they do intentionally surround and fight you to reject your historically proved correctly thoughts for the past 5000 centuries while your are trying hard to help them for their own good, no we are good you are bad. so It is nice to hear from some one special like you shedding the light on those little count of humans who are special and different from the standard herd of humans out there. waiting for more videos, best regards, 45 years, Cairo, Egypt

Hey, subbed to you a year or two ago as saw you were also a Maths student or just graduated at the same time I was, I graduated last summer but haven't had an in person ceremony or got to see my friends again since March 2020, assume many of which have gone back home overseas for a while. I also was basically all in pure maths area and so compared to my peers who all did statistics and financial maths units I have felt it pretty difficult to find a job in anything maths related, but in the last 6 months or so I've found something that I can do from home and with flexible hours, I'm not sure my degree has been beneficial but I'm glad to have something to do even if it's not paying like a graduate salary as I was feeling a bit useless earlier in the year. I was considering tutoring but the prep work involved and the strict terms and conditions made me think it's probably not the right thing for me right now

Sorry you're having issues with depression and anxiety. A lot of us have been there and might still be there. Sorry your G P was so unhelpful. Are you working with one of the Big 4 or Big 5 firms or whatever it is now, or one of the other large firms? I am interested because I was a part-qualified accountant (CIMA) in a company. I am trying to write a novel where one of the characters works for a large audit firm, but I know very little about the internal workings of them. I have found some videos on Utube by people working in these firms, but they never offer much information, more 'what I had for breakfast' kind of thing 😏.

Thanks for your comment. I don’t work in the Big 4, I’m training at a small firm which I think is much more suited to me! But never say never! Have you seen Devamsha’s videos? She makes videos about working in the Big 4. I guess it’s hard to find people who talk on too much detail about their workplace online because they’ve got to remain professional

@@TheKingBeth thanks - yes you're right, they wouldn't be able to take you behind the scenes very much. I will look for that one you mentioned. All the best for your career. I'm sure you will be well suited.

Why didn’t you consider a MSc? Would be interesting to know since you seem like you enjoyed your degree lol.
@TheKingBeth2 жыл бұрын
I did consider it very briefly! I think at the time I graduated I was just done with education for a bit. I knew I wanted to travel but after that I wasn’t sure. And somehow I’ve found myself where I am now 🤷🏻♀️ I wouldn’t know what to study or specialise in in a Masters tbh, but I would enjoy it!!
