1 year owners review of the Daystate Huntsman revere safari in .177 sub 12

I bought one, having looked at most of the obvious alternatives, and love it for all the reasons you say. I use QYS domed and it's super accurate - as you say every pellet drops into the mag nicely. Trigger is perfect and the shot count is excellent for a small cylinder. I like that it's not too heavy

I’m after one but the fact there’s no under picatinny rail is a concern as I shoot off bipod/tripod

Hi mate I’ve seen a customised 3D printed one that attached to the under side of the stick via the screw I think. I don’t shoot off bipods or trigger sticks so have no need for it. The Revere is a sublime true huntsman rifle & a testament to Daystate.

Hi from across the pond! Yes it’s a beautiful rifle indeed! I use QYS 9.56 streamline it stacks them. I have also done a pellet test vlog with the rifle check it out.

Cracking rifles, i have a walnut stocked .22 revere , With a optisan cp scope on it , I use it for ratting , Blimey it absolutely destroys them at 20 yards. Totally agree with everything youve said about them ,Phenominal!! Ps ive put a 0db short silencer on mine bought and delivered to my door from daystate ,, a well worth add on ,,, just subscribed 😊

Yes the revere is a true great in my humble opinion, sounds like you have a brilliant set up there buddy. Yes the OBD silencer is a fantastic edition I’ve just ordered the weihrauch xl 130mm for mine will look a lot better than the old Hoben one and should bring it down a few db. Once again thank you for subscribing I’ll be putting up all my nigbt & days ratting footage I’ve been recording over the last few years as soon as I get my head around editing.

Comes with probe mate 1 mag that’s it if your thinking of buying one just do it mate trust me there unreal.

Have you had any issues with the rifle over the year you’ve had it,Rattles or knocks? The barrel band on mine isn’t loose but the shroud has a little rattle (super annoying) sorted now,and the cocking lever seems to have quite a bit of up/down play.Still a cracking gun,just wondering.cheers.

Hi thanks for watching my video! Everything you have mentioned I have never had any kind of issues at all! Did you buy it used or brand new as it may be a result of some one tinkering with it? Daystate have a very strict quality control all there guns are vigorously tested before they leave there factory. I’ve owned a few Daystate guns & can honestly say I’ve never had a single issue my only gripe is the magazine it’s to fiddly for me compared to other makers. @@Ratsinthereticles yeah bought the gun new (1st daystate) not quite sure how good the quality should be even though I was expecting it to be pretty good tbf.like I say the barrel shroud had some play in it(down to barrel band,now sorted) but the cocking arm seems to me has when open a lot of up and down play?ill probably get on to them and have a chat.thanks for the reply,all the best 👍

I’ll second everything said hear I had a revere safari and it was the dogs but for some reason I got a itch for a A/A s510 and part xed my safari for the A/A the 510 was bloody accurate but not as good all round as the safari to the extent I lashed out £300 pound more than I sold it for says it all really it’s a lazor with qys streamlined pellets

Torn between this & the S510 tactical. This is like £300 cheaper for the base rifle. Classic lines vs modern tacticool.

Hi dude thanks for watching firstly, yes that’s a tough one mate anything Air Arms is great they don’t mess around & make great guns don’t they! I was torn between this & the HW100. The only thing I can suggest is go and try both get the feel for them but bear in mind your choosing between a tactical & a classic huntsman rifle there worlds apart mate! But believe me the Revere is sublime that trigger is just unreal. Thanks again for your engagement and let us know what you decide to get.
