The only thing i can say about the Revere is... The hollow sounds it makes when handling it, like wiping it down with oil rag, i know people have taken their rifles back thinking its faulty, NO its meant to be that way 👍

Had no problems with the new flip up cover magazines, nor the ones that proceeded them, had a bit of trouble with the similar Brocock ones though, couldnt find a pellet that indexed well in them, found out the one mag was slightly out of line when probing through a pellet, sorted that though with a strip down.. Love the revere, specially the rough wood one.. Looks awesome, and accuracy is up there, that go's without saying.. It's the range for me and the Mrs tomorrow, be back for half 3, get the beer on the go ready for the footie, gorra nice chillies cheese pizza to be willed down anawl... Oh, full English first in the club house before shooting... Well, ya gorra ain't ya 😂

I have a Reximex Pretensis and some pellets don't go right through in the mag but it doesn't matter as the probe just pushed it into the breech and doesn't affect the accuracy at all! I use Barracuda 8 pellets which are superb. Hopefully my next one will be the Safari, great vid and have a good weekend.

Not really in the market for a new pcp but the fx drs classic has caught my attention, lightweight hunter with a good shot count, but the mag on that seems fiddly,manufacturers should be doing better it's no mystery surly 👍

love my .22 huntsman revere (wood stock) just put a swfa 10x42 on it ,, deffo a keeper

I use air arms diabolo field in my revere, they sit level with the magazine, the probe pushes them through no problem,getting 5 pence groups at 30 m.

Thanks for watching mate yes mine does the same it will push the pellet in to the barrel perfectly but I don’t like the way they sit as could get skirt damage ?

I wonder if it actually sizes the pellets for you 😂, if it damaged the skirt, surely accuracy would be affected, mine is not 👍

@@Ratsinthereticles possibly, I know the fella off the shooting show, Matt Manning always uses one if he is sub 12 and isn't reviewing a rifle or set up. He use's it in single shot mode and it has a bolt action, has MK4 in bold written on the right hand side of the rifle by the magazine. Always fancied one of them.. similar to your revere, love the safari stock 👍

Ahhh ok yes I think it’s the regal I’m not 100 percent the revere was design by a guy it’s names after I think his name is Tony revere I’m not 100% I remember the guy who owns Daystate talking about it on Alfa militaria was v interesting indeed but yes the revere is like an upgrade of the mk4 or regal as it has side lever and it’s so smooth. If you can get to shoot one mate you will understand the revere in my opinion is the best true huntsman rifle ever made and takes some beating.
