If you ever experience clunking suspension or steering check the steering rack bushing fix. Common on the platform and there's an updated one to fix this

That’s just coding, you can find used ones on eBay or parts recycling sites

In terms of power output there’s no difference! Just faster gear shifts etc so in my eyes still stock 😂

Genuine bmw ones taken from a 240i, all you need to do is rewire it using a 5/6 pin adapter. Can’t remember exactly but there’s a DIY post on bimmer post with coding you need to do after fitting it too
