welcome to my ONE YEAR POSTGRAD life reflection. today we're gonna spend a chill morning together while I ramble. I know this isn't my most organized or traditional advice video, but it's an honest reflection of my jumbled brain trying to comprehend that college is moving further and further away from me and that 2020 is real life 🥴

Joelle Hi Joelle, I came across your KZbin Channel while looking for life on campus at Dartmouth videos for my third grade son. I guess it doesn’t hurt to plan ahead even though a million and one things can happen in 10 years. I line how well produced and eloquent all of your videos are and I was compelled to comment on this one, because I remember the anticlimax and social drop off post college. Even in a big city there are just fewer circumstances where you are forced to socialize as opposed to college. I guess I have no unrealistic expectations for what an investment in a four year liberal arts degree can yield. I think the experience itself is it’s own reward but you have an excellent grasp on the intangible skills that you honed over four years that are challenging in hindsight to compared with who you were pre Dartmouth. Definitely over four years you develop at a rapid pace and don’t have the luxury of tracking progress as you would in a before and after snapshot. For me progress has never been linear and being able to adapt to changing circumstances is the vital takeaway. For what it’s worth I think you’re managing really well given the timing of post grad blahs on top of these already unprecedented times. I wish you the best and we’ll keep watching! 👍
