I'd say it's the equivalent of hearing my mum's generation trying to speaking English. But now I know how I sound when I speak Vietnamese to my parents 😭😭

It's also harder to learn. I have a hard time matching words pronounced with the writings a lot. Like when I hear someone say mệt (tired). I thought he said mựt.
