7:30 is why I buy UglyStik GX2 rods. I've NEVER managed to break a rod after 20 years. I only have to replace the reels and I replace them with KastKing reels. Amazing reels for cheap.

Wicked shopping spree man! Very cool you, Cortney, and Holden all involved plus Kevin! The gloves Kevin wanted, that was so funny man! You got some really good equipment, Chris! You definitely stocked up for hunting and your traps! The Cross Bow is Wicked man! By the way nice zeroing in by Holden! Nice fishing lures, leaders, bobbers, the works man! That place is crazy man really nice! Not spoiled nor rotten man! Trying to throw the cards away was hilarious! Looks like you guys all had a great time and got the things you needed! Really good video! Look forward to your next one. Take care.

My catfish gear is the Penn Spinfisher V model 10500 ht 100 with 100lb test braided Spiderwire. Its mounted to a 9' Shakespear medium heavy Ugly-Stick. I sometimes mount it to a 12' rod for surf fishing. You gotta have big gear in Texas because you never know when a big gator gar, flathead, or monster channel cat will bite.

When I was a kid I sold nightcrawlers back in 1968 for 25 cents a dozen people would say I should change more but to me it was about family fun not money my mom made me go to 75 cent's a dozen then everyone went to $5 a dozen not me I went to $2 a dozen. I didn't like selling that price but i had a family to support. It's all about family fun not greed.

@@TheWoodedBeardsman We have them here too but they're owned by Bass Pro and they are not like the real Cabela's.
@criticalevent13 күн бұрын
The way fraud is committed on gift cards is people take pictures of them on the rack and then they check the numbers until money appears on them and then they use the number. Never buy gift cards that are not behind the counter. Bass Pro should really get rid of the ability to check them on the web site.
@TheWoodedBeardsman13 күн бұрын
The new ones have a peel sticker with a 3 digit security code.
@criticalevent13 күн бұрын
@@TheWoodedBeardsman The scam they run on those is to replace the bar code with one from a card they've purchased so their card gets loaded with whatever money you put on it.

Ya, I guess there are some serious ones. I just see most of it as gimmicks compared to trad guns, which I honestly think are a bit less hassle. Probably when they work out all the kinks, they'll be alright. I don't like that they always seem to leak, or malfunction in some way. I like reliable.

@TheWoodedBeardsman14 күн бұрын
I'm not going to lie, it was tough to make the purchases. But a lot easier getting the gear for Holden to get started. He was always borrowing my stuff, and the deer gun season is too short. Now that he has a crossbow, he can hunt along side me for 2.5 months. And his own fishing rods too! Those were the big purchases.
