The hard part is, the hard part... these guys are extremely fit and can combat things like others can't. It's not that easy.. I've been to Tassie twice but after realising personal circumstances prohibit me from trying what they do I have up and settled for nice shiny sapphires. I'm not in any thing for personal gain I thought I might add, it's all for my cabinet which will be my daughter's one day... well done rob! And Levi too with his grabs. You guys kick ass and the level of respect you portray for the surrounds leaves me In envy.. not even joking. On those dark pieces you found; we have gold here on some streams in Alaska that is similarly colored and we call it black gold, it’s because it’s coated in manganese.

Amazing finds Rob, and what an epic adventure. I don’t know if you’d consider it but I believe it’d be worthwhile packing in a hammer and chisel/crowbar to break up some more of that bed rock. Especially in the bedrock at about 25 min in there’s going to be A LOT of gold hiding deep in those cracks.
