I only discovered your channel recently but I've been looking through your videos and you are such a brilliant blend of mad, genius, talented and humorous. I bet I'm not the only one intrigued for another update (3 years after this video). I recently started making my own piano tutorials for fun, 1 video a week, same as you, and I find it really inspiring that even though you stopped after a few months you managed to make a real impact, I know at least one of your videos really helped me (yes, the montuno one). I can definitely imagine getting burned out by the endless editing, but I'll do my best to keep at it! Congratulations on nearly reaching 20k subscribers, hopefully we'll see something from you soon. Thanks for the info and the entertainment.

Thanks Mike, for what you have done already. Good luck in whatever you do in the future, and if that includes posting some more videos, well great! I really enjoyed what you shared so far. Thank you!

Hi, I came to your channel for the latin piano. Your montuno tutorial is the best I’ve watched. I think this style is not well covered in youtube. It would be great if you coud make another one. Thanks

Hi Mike: I found your videos recently (many years after you made them) when I was learning about "Montunos". I play guitar and write and arrange music. That video is excellent. You are a very talented teacher (as well as pianist) and have a great sense of humor...yes, your hair looks great. :) I just want to say thanks for all you've done and peace from British Columbia. (I see skis in the corner, and I hope you are able to get out on them this winter!) Steve

God bless you, man. Seems that I've found you just as you're coming back. I'd love to see more Latin keyboard tutorials. You have a tremendous ability to teach a lot in a small amount of time. Thanks for the videos. Saludos from Miami!

You're awesome, dude. I still sing that line from your Country Western tutorial "I got some beeeeeeers, in the back o'my truuuuuuuuuuck!" I play the piano part too... but yes, glad to hear you've been well! =)

Dude, your awesome. Glad your thinking about uploading again. Keep your vids simple and to the point. That's what made them so good. You could get to the essences of a style better then anyone. Love the humorous breaks too but that adds more work n time to what sound like a full schedule already.

Hi Mike, Glad to hear you back... You’ve bring me to the keys... And I’ve bought a Clavinet because of you about 1 year ago... and the only piece I’ve been playing since is your funk riff! Take good care From Paris - France F.

Man, I really like your videos. I’ve been watching it all over again a few months ago since I started in a band. That Montuno and reggae bubble tutorial really saved me coz I had no idea how to properly play that without “rocket science” like you say. Thank you so much. Greetings from Brazil.

Actually if I had one request, after going back and listening to your Pop and Country tutorial, it's that you actually write and record the "Beer in the back of my truck" song... I actually really like the melody and chord structure...
