Thanks for this review, Adwoa! I have so many Khadlaj fragrances that I love: Nuha, Karus Secret Musk, Flor Oud, Epoque Artistique, Le Prestige Royal, Le Prestige Empress, Le Prestige Bold, Loyalty, and Shiyaaka Gold. Flor Oud also smells differently than I expected, but I was surprised to hear that you get a very animalic vibe from it, as I get much more of a floral and slightly fruity vibe that is quite elegant. I'm thinking I might wear it to an upcoming wedding, since to me it gives off an elevated rather than an everyday vibe. All the Khadlaj fragrances I've tried are so good, that now after seeing your review I would really like to get Karus Amber Gold. Thanks so much for sharing the details since I haven't heard anyone else review it!❤❤❤

Nice selection! There’s a lot more I will love to try. Am loving a lot from the house lately. I think Flor Oud will be a good choice for a wedding. It feels classy and chic. It can take you from the main ceremony to the reception 👍 Thank you ❤

I love Flor Oud. The dent is huge! Today, I layered it with Amber Rouge from Orientica, which really enhanced the scent and the longevity. Gorgeous!

Hibiscus Mahajad smells like a metallic rose to me and you are right it does have a vintage feel to it. It smells like something my perverted primary school teacher wore

I think Hibiscus is like sobolo leaves. I have note come across the fresh flower though. Just the dried one we use for tea or sobolo

I love this, I did a review of this and oud fire was really interesting to me it reminded me of majd al sultan, they’re not the same for sure but the same vibe for sure! They all seem to be taking some twists on some popular sophisticated DNA! To me the Karus Amber Gold definitely gave me noir de noir with Amber, Amped up Jasmine and no wine and chocolate! Interesting too - it’s fizzy you’re right, in the back! It’s so interesting to see how different people pick up different notes. To me that Jasmine is so present! It’s really nice hearing you talk about these ❤ I was tempted to buy the whole collection but realistically I feel like they’re too similar in vibes as other perfumes - I don’t know that I’d pick them over those favourites. We’ll see!

I know right. Exciting and overwhelming at the same time. New houses to try but a lot of them are redundant but in Khadla’s defense, although some are redundant, they feel more well made ☺️

Hello dear Adwoa🫶🏻Khadlaj has risen fast in the top of my loved fragrance houses..I feel that the quality is so good and the smell of their perfume reacts good to my skin ❤The most loved one is Empire Victor😻I am mesmerised by that gorgeous vanilla🤩Most probably Karus Secret Musk will be the next one🙈(wallet is crying)I still have Noir d’Arabie and I enjoy it, but it feels just a biiit screeching…for sure when I’ll finish it, I will choose the Khadlaj one. Thank you dear Adwoa for these reviews as these ( or some of these ) have finally made it to one seller here in Australia) . Interesting perfumes and I still got my eye on Khadlaj Empire Viktor but at this time we have the OG formulation Down Under which is the super strong oud without the creamy deliciousness. For any fellow Aussies, please be aware that one of the perfume shops ( the only one with the range as far as I am are of) are selling the OG version which is Oud heavy and not the same, they changed the formulation this year to the wonderful one it is now. I am taking a bit of time off from the computer as I have been getting so many migraines with vision issues so now I start a new medication tonight and hope this will fix the issue. Hey Tia, I’m assuming you’re referring to Private Blends. I saw that they got this back in stock recently and I assumed it was the new reformulated one. Glad I read this… was going to message them and ask about the batch but now I don’t need to.

​@Jo-lw1qw As far as I know and was told, Private Blends are selling the 2023 original oud heavy version. No lemon, etc, if you read their notes on the description, it also mentions these notes. Hope this helps. 😊

Adwoa from this selection i own flor oud. I like it but still getting used to it. To me is not a fragrance i can wear easily. Bc of the strength. Same experience as oud mood. They can both be overwhelming to me sometimes. I would love to get le prestige royal and le prestige empress. They are both in the 50 plus dollars right now . Its hard to blind buy at those prices. But for your description of the Prestige royal it seems like somth I would like alot. Specially since you mention that is different. ❤

Hi Maria, I understand how Flor Oud might not be the easiest to comprehend. Try not spraying few spray at a time or let it sit for more time to smoothen out. Le prestige is different but also quite mass appealing to me. ❤️❤️

Hello Adwoa. I am a huge Khadlaj fan. Flor Oud is extremely elegant. When l first sniffed it, I felt it was what a classy "Bond girl" would wear. There is nothing animalic about it to me. It's more floral fruity with an effervescent tingle. I have made a very big dent and will be ordering a backup bottle soon. Le Prestige Empress is another classy one. It smells like money. May not be everyone's cup of tea but if a lady passes me by smelling like that, I would know she has class. Le Epoque Artistique is another fine one. Then I have Empire Victor. The old formulation which I love also. Dirty sexy... not what I would wear if I want to make an impression in a formal setting. Overall, Khadlaj is a great house. 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼

Yes there are similarities but Arabian’s Tonka is way much sweeter especially the noir de Arabia. I don’t find it boozy. A bit of a spice but not boozy to me
