If you still needed info on removing that cowl panel its literally just a matter of removing the 15mm nut that holds each side of windshield wipers, once you pull the wipers off you then remove the plastic push pins (4 total if I’m not mistaken) that hold the cowling. Should easily come off after that.👌

I removed the cowl panel, but there is another layer of aluminum panel underneath the windshield wiper motor that's blocking the way, and I am suspecting it is wielded to the main frame of the car which I cannot remove. Is there anyway you could remove that aluminum piece at all since I really don't want to take apart the supercharger to replace a stupid coolant pipe. I have a 2012 range rover sport sc.

I’m about to install the same, though aluminum, rear coolant flange w/sensor. After watching this video, I'm concerned about whether or not I can successfully complete the installation. I didn't know about the supercharger beneath the intake manifold. Its removal and reinstalling looks undoable in the eyes of a 69-year-old layman. I'll keep your video as a How-to each step of the project. Thank you for showing it like it is.

Any idea on the part number for the cross over tube and is there a better aftermarket choice that is one molded piece that won’t fail at the seems?

thats the cross over coolant tube. that was leaking

Hi just a question when you are bleeding is there any white smoke coming out your exhaust??

There should be no white smoke coming from the exhaust as that usually means head gasket failure. I have had light moisture come out on initial start up which is normal from moisture buildup when its parked not running overnight

@@EngineInformant thank you for your reply I did the same and was able to replace that crossover pipe. But then again I guess my car overheated could have hurt the head gasket

@@vincentcelicious5675 check your oil for milky color or moisture. if it was bad but not yet milky-ish, you could pull the oil drain plug for 1 second and put back and you would see coolant come out as water and coolant lay below the oil. Also make sure to bleed the air out of coolant lines. It's a PITA but utilize your bleeder valve screws. Best Of Luck!

@@EngineInformant I can do that validate the oil. Yes it was a pita bleeding that system. In your video you mentioned that there is another way to fill the heater core thru the pipe. Would it be the pipe going to the crossover pipe or backwards going to that aluminum lines?

Any torque specifications for reinstalling the supercharger?

I don't recall off hand but it was listed in the repair manual. Very important as they can strip easily in the aluminum head.
