yes it should. as time has gone, revisions were made and some now have a power button that is integrated on the right side panel due to a glitch in Land rover system(mine included).

Once installed, do you loose the factory amp. Factory amp is a huge plus in the 2011 Range Rover Sports HSE. I haven't seen any video that show us the music sound once Tesla screen is installed.

No it fully utilizes all current audio equipment except power button panel. you essentially hear feel no difference other than how its powered on and get a vertical screen (that actually is actually smaller than the original screen) but you get some useless visuals below. Though this can vary between venders and updates.

Is the connection harness being plugged in at 2:27 going into the cd player grey plug on the far right at 2:18? i.e. you remove the grey connector from the dash to the cd unit, plug the dash cable it into the female side of the harness that comes with the new unit, then plug the male end into the cd player so it delivers power to the new LCD head unit?

there is a way to update but its been so long i cannot remember. I had to contact the manufacturer to get latest release then i put it on a usb thumb drive and rebooted if i remember correctly.

Most likely but i cannot say for sure. Typically one company manufactures them and a handful of companies put their names on them much like 60gallon air compressors

i cant say do or dont, but here is a more complicated answer. These products evolve like wildlife(typically for the better as times goes on) but anytime you fool with a RR you testing waters. I will say you wont get any more real options next to a more attractive harder to use screen which is larger but more appealing to look at. You decide your budget

No it should not. The version I modeled here utilized all oem functions.

This is the only unit that is aftermarket that can be used and must have working oem one to make it work ad shown. You will have to buy a used one and have it programmed to your vin.

You have to go into settings and it will have an option for reverse. Change what the default settings are set to

Yes they are available for the L322 as well. Google the same it will come up. Much less of a finicky setup too. You don't need to utilise any part of your old radio for it to work.

The Original Ali Baba and his band of merry thieves were not exactly trustworthy and apparently this can be pretty much applied to the modern day name sake . On a more serious note the inherent problem with Android auto ( unlike Apple CarPlay ) is that it seems to be politically oriented and therefore only available in a limited number of countries which makes the idea of investing in such a system a hopeless proposition .

Dear Mr,Shaw .. I do solemnly swear that I haven’t the faintest idea about any wires .... Female or otherwise 🤔 Anyway , in my eternal quest for a simple car play solution for my 2010 Range Rover Sport I ordered the universal CarPlay heads up display with OBD connector from Unique -Ad in the UK .which offers more control options via a steering wheel mounted remote than using an AUX cable . 👍
