I fucking hate it when people want "positive spin" or "good vibes" etc instead of reality. It's like author did something bad by telling things like they are. People can complain, vent or feel angry about something - but we also can and tbh should talk about the bad thing that happen because they did happen and usually for a reason. Hiding reality under mass of positivity doesn't equal happiness or better life. It equals denial or unrealistic world which usually lead to making people who have something "negative" to say to deal with it on their own thus putting our comfort always before comfort of other people which is just wrong. I don't mean haters or being rude to other people or anything like that - I try to treat everyone with respect. But constant suggestions that exist nowadays because of all the coaching and positivity over reality is actually really rude to other people - certainly more than having something not sunny and perfect (which is human) to say. While standing behind all the positivity and loving other people appearance you're basically telling them to shut up and/or filter what they want or need to say just because you don't like their message but because it's under this nice positive appearance you can say them "shut up" and feel like you're doing something good by changing the world to a more positive place. The problem is it doesn't work that way and it's a psychological equivalent of breaking your arm and instead of having a surgery or a cast just taking pain pills until your body can't stand them anymore and fails because you only mask the problem and believe if you pretend long enough it's gonna go away - but it doesn't work that way. It doesn't fix your arm just because you pretend to live in a perfect world where it would. I'm all for dreaming for a perfect world and making the world we have even one step closer to being perfect but it actually is worse and harder for other people if you live in this world but pretend you live in a one that's more convenient for you. There's a line between visionary/dreamer/etc and delusional/in denial/etc. Don't make the line blurry for you and the rest of us because it's really easy to cross it just by making these kind of comments everyday to people around you especially because the psychological construction of it makes you feel better when you become detached which ultimately is worse not only for your surroundings but also yourself.

There's got to be a very interesting story behind what happened. I hope someday somebody on set will write an autobiography and explain - not that there won't be multiples sides and takes. But it got so bad that the last season of Castle was written to keep their two characters separate and the two actors from sharing many scenes together. If they didn't use staging and camera cuts to minimize the characters/actors being physically close, I swear they sometimes even used body doubles when they shared the screen. Go look, and pay attention to the times when they both were on screen at the same time but you can't simultaneously see their faces.
@aHumanBeing973 жыл бұрын
They actually had to change the entire story to the tv show Charmed because 2 of the 3 sisters didn’t see eye to eye off screen. So how do they fix it? They kill one of the sisters off screen and retcon a 4th sister to encounter “The power of 3” The 2 actresses I believe have never spoken since. It’s a little clear to see when you know about it. The witches that can speak to ghosts are never able to speak to their dead sister. But dead mother and grandmother are perfectly fine.

Give it a few years, and the heat around Franco to pass... we'll get "Interview on the Pineapple Express II" before 2025 Rogen is doing pre-emptive damage control before it blows back on him... it's not a coincidence that A He made a Public Statement about not working with Franco rather than simply just not working with him again and B. within a week of that statement he posted something else about "if you told a bad joke in the past, admit that it was a bad joke and take you're lashings" and defending "Cancel Culture" ignoring the fact that multiple people have had current jobs revoked despite moving away from and apologizing for past bad jokes

Must be great to be able to refuse to work with people you dislike. The majority of us just have to suck it up and be professional. It's a bit of a shame, cause lots of teams benefit from a bit of conflict - people trying to outdo each other, challenging each other's ideas ensuring its not just an echo chamber. A good manager can harness that.

Acting is proven tae be very emotional work. Good actors have tae get into the right headspace tae play a character, and that is proven tae be hard when you are working against someone ye cannae stand.
