Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles. Advanced combos for Makomo mains. Makomo was a request from a new subscriber. I will be doing Shinobu next then Sabito or Nezuko. I hope yall like some of these because these videos take a long time in the lab and to edit. I hope everyone is enjoying the new Demon Slayer game. I have been having a lot of fun so far. The cutscenes look absolutely amazing and the combat is fun and smooth most of the time. I have a ps4 and I've still been having fun offline and online even with the small bugs. @@electricspikez9580 she has low damage but she is really fast and she has moves that have good range so they focused on her movement instead of damage. Her and Shinobu have good movement but low damage

Right, it's all about counter play with her and man I swear everyone kills in 2 combos except for Makomo and Shinobu 🤣...I think we mainly have to rely on using boost🤧

What is the attack that you used to connect the the ultimate for the first combo

It’s a up tilt light attack combo after the water wheel then use her guard special after the up tilt to connect the Ultimate

Right they need to nerf Rengoku and his insane damage and boost Makomo and Shinobu’s a little not to much though or they will be broke for sure lol

@@zetsuron_g4 yea they will probably smooth things out when the next patch comes out. Some characters need some small changes. If you haven’t got the game yet I definitely recommend it if you like Demon Slayer

If it helps any app the water breathers play different and there moves are similar but they do different things especially Urokadoki. His water wheel travels far and his water basin can activate two times so they all have similar moves but they are different for sure

i hate playing against fire type its so op like 80% damage gone but i main makomo so like im only doing like 25% with level 3 its so sad

Kinda but not exactly. All the characters have there own attack and defense stats and I think speed too but some do more damage then others. Rengoku hits like a truck and Shinobu tickles people with how much damage she does but she has way better movements and can float in the air with her air dash. They all are good at something different

can someone explain to me why a level 3 ult after a combo does less damage than a level 1 ult alone? i noticed it in practice and i was so damn confused. i never noticed it in actual matches. is it to nerf so people dont to 1 tap combos?

No Makomo’s damage is just really low. Some characters damage is noticeable less then others. Rengoku’s raw ult does more damage then basically anything Makomo can do in a combo even when she is surged. I’m not sure why they made the raw ultimates do so much damage but the reason is doesn’t do as much in a combo is because of combo scaling. Depending on how you start a combo it will do less damage depending on what moves you use in your combo. For example of you use a dash start your combo the Ultimate at the end and the combo itself will do less damage then of you started it with a super or a light attack. If you use your ultimate after using a combo with just dashes it will do way less then if you did a combo with supers chained together and no dashes. It’s weird but that’s how the combo scaling works in demon slayer

@@SsjPerseus ye like if u do special moves to open them up then combo that with ult it will do max damage. But if u do a regular combo and ult after it will cut the lvl 3 ult damage by like 70%. Like if u do a full max combo then finish with a level 3 ult it will do less damage than doing a level 3 ult alone. I was playing around with it in practice i really dont know y its like that.

​ @Giorno Giovanna After 12 hits, all Ultimate arts scale heavily. For the most damage, you either want as little scaling as possible with fewer moves or as many high damage moves as possible in the those 12 hits. Short Confirms into ultimate is better for damage, longer confirms are better to visually see if the ultimate is necessary.

For the opening combo y when I do “splashing water flow” she run past

It has to be perfectly timed with a slight delay to let you opponent fall. If you press it to quick she will go under him so just delay it for like half a second

theres really no point in lvl 3 ulting at the end of a combo. u can save the lvl 3 and u can do more dmg than the whole combo with the ult. idk y its like that but it is.

It’s because of the combo scaling and I wouldn’t recommend a raw ultimate ever to be honest. It’s very easy to just ultimate back and then you’re the one getting hit instead of them. Some characters ultimates just don’t do that much damage but some can do a lot of damage with a lvl 3 at the end of a combo. I agree with you that the raw lvl 3 should not do 75% damage to people but you can do even more with a lvl 3 at the end of a good combo. Trust me I save my surge and lvl 3 for round 3 or the end of the match and I destroy people with a combos I have for Sabito and a ultimate at the end. Watch the last video I posted and you will see what I mean

I only used a lvl 1 ult in that combo and it still almost wiped his whole health bar and with a lvl 3 he would have died right then

Oh for sure man just about anything online right now on the ps4 is almost impossible to do because of the input delay and lag. These can be done on Xbox and Pc online pretty easy probably but until the ps4 online gets fixed good luck. I can barely get these to land online and I created them lol
