The whole point of a lot of the western excursions the Japanese wrestlers get sent on is to learn gimmicks and the like since it’s not as prevalent in Japan. So a lot of the foreign guys when they’re starting out get weird or dumb gimmicks for a while.
@Mike-zx6sl8 ай бұрын
Not only did Okada insist on returning to TNA as part of his NJPW Farewell Tour, he straight up paid respect to the promotion and their fans during his goodbye despite how embarrassing his run during excursion was there. I genuinely think he was still grateful for what he learned there, even if it was what he DIDN'T want to be during his time in the business. The dude is a class act, through and through.

If Impact Wrestling had signed Jon Moxley there is a high potential that Moxley would be the only wrestler in History to hold the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, the AEW World Championship, the WWE Championship and the Impact World Championship, but then The Shield may not have happened. Also Kazuchika Okada and Switchblade Jay White were wasted by Impact Wrestling. Kazuchika Okada was made to look like a Jobber and Switchblade Jay White was only brought in to bring Chris Bey and Ace Austin into Bullet Club so as Impact could say they have a Bullet Club in their wrestling promotion too.
