I'm rocking another clone that came by your recommendation Mr Ash, and I am grateful I listened to you and I genuinely thank you for putting me on! The Woods Collection Dusk. MAN is this an INCREDIBLE clone of PDM Layton! Smooth, perfectly blended, balanced, and as natural smelling as the real deal (knowing that Layton IS a pretty synthetic fragrance.) If you guys can afford a few more bucks, I suggest skipping on Detour Noir and going for Dusk. It's beautiful stuff!

There is a great fresh version of Angels Share that you can use in the spring and summer . It is from Dumont's higher quality Borouj Line and called Silage . It adds to the usual Angel Share notes with Iris and Plum . It is much more of a twist because it is less sweet and very fresh . You can get for $52 , and imo. definitely designer quality

I cant speak for the closeness to Layton or Layton Exclusif but, I will say Detour Exclusif smells amazing and really lasts too. Would recommend.

Not me. I hot him with the cheapie. Say I only paid 40 bucks for it. I wear it like a badge of honor that I spent so little for something someone complimented me on. Typically a lot of the times someone would ask if it was expensive, like for instance when I'm wearing Khamra or something. Layton clones and angel share clones get me mad compliments. Haven't tried elixir yet but I see this one recommended a lot so you are tempting me, also the scent profile itself seems to rate highly. May give it a shot.

I really didnt want to admit this but detour exclusive is better. I have Layton exclusive and bought the detour to take with me overseas so these TSA thieves didnt get me again. The detour is not as harsh. Not as animalic. I love the layton but the detour is better for being around people. Its softer so more people pleasing

For once I have absolutely no interest in any of these wannabes. And Im so done with vanilla in mens fragrances. I dont mind vanilla on a woman but I cant wear it anymore. Two things Ive learned since working with and wearing fragrances for 20 years is #1 There will never be enough clones of Aventus on the market. 150 years from now Aventus clones will still be released every 2 weeks. And #2 Vanilla will never go out of style with many men. Im not one of those men.
