Being someone with smaller wrists, a big issue I have with some of these straps (like the ColaReb on the Tissot) is the one size fits all. It is a bit annoying having all that extra leather. Almost like wearing a belt that's just too big for you!

I have one of the MN straps from Jackostraps, and I love it! I change my strap every day or two, and I keep coming back to the MN because it's so bloody comfortable. Bas & Lokes is probably the best "manufacturer" of straps in the world, if they aren't they are close. Cool thing about them is they will let you customize orders, often at no charge, are also a family business, and are very personable. When you buy a strap from them you will get an actual email from the owners thanking you for the business. My concern is TGV doesn't like spending a lot on straps, which is understandable. So Bas & Lokes is probably way out of the budget he would normally advise for a strap. I am a little disappointed Hirsch got no love in the video, they are a very big strap making company and I know TGV has used their straps before. There is also JPM, another Italian maker, but like Bas & Lokes they are definitely expensive.

Came back to this video because I ordered a Bonetto Cinturini for my SKX009 after seeing this and getting ready for the upcoming heat. Absolutely a wonderful strap! It's comfortable, smells nice, and looks great! I got the 315 model which is more subtle, but I love it. Absolute bang for buck, thanks for the recommendation TGV! Also Holbens was great, I accidentally ordered 2 and emailed letting them know I and they quickly changed it to 1 and sent it out immediately the next day (I ordered the evening before.)! Definitely recommend using them! Peace!

Wished I saw this before I impatiently bought straps for a watch that is not even ready to be worn yet (due for repairs). Totally got screwed by awful straps. Marketed well so to say, great pics and IG, BUT shoddy craftsmanship. Even worse customer service - seller refuses to acknowledge the fault in his product. Cost me 60-70 USD mind you... Hello TGV, need your opinion on something. I own an Orient Bambino as my dress watch and am looking for another one to use as a casual watch. After watching your videos I am torn between the SKX007 and MakoII. I know you love the SKX and am myself attracted by its looks and its iconic status. I love the blue dial on MakoII, feel the latest movement is a plus, and since I already own an Orient know its a reliable brand. I understand its ultimately my decision, but would appreciate if you can weigh on it.

I do wish you would address the odd lug widths. My Victorinox Swiss Army Chrono Classic is 21mm and I dream of having it matched with a perforated black leather rally strap with red (or white , black) stitching. I find a few but they are cost prohibitive. I'll never again buy an odd sized watch again. I do love my watch but there are so few options in straps.

Could someone answer this question please. Recently I bought a Seiko snzf17. I wore it for a couple of weeks got tired of the bracelet took it of and put a leather band on it. After a while I put the original bracelet back on but I noticed that the two pieces from the bracelet that connect to the watch started to make a rattling sound when I would shake my hand. It didn't do that before and It's starting to drive me insane. Is that rattling normal? Is there a way to tighten those piece back up some how????

From what I can see on Colareb's website their straps are made of genuine leather, which is the lowest quality of leather. Is this a mistake from translation or is there some reason they're not using top grain or at least full grain leather?
