Yep.... i understand you. Self love and value comes from first knowing self, which is knowing your roots, seeing the positive side of them that may not have been popularised by the present day media, and drawing strength from that to face the daily challenges in front of you. That is why Africans always speak about 'the spirit of our Ancestors' because they're like the root (core) on which our tree (identity) grows, and we are the products (fruits) from it all. In order to weaken that core, those spirits of our Ancestors were demonised by religious indoctrinations, but that will be a story for another time. Great job guys.... much love from mama Africa.

Ancient African Civilization is taught in West African schools curriculum from studying..AncientEgypt and Mesopotamia ( current day middle)...and ancient writings with the invention of the first writing system and invention of paper..( from the papyrus plant). THIS is where the name "" paper"" derived.

The only issue is that papyrus is actually an ancient greek word . . Doesn't seem to actually be an Egyptian word even though papyrus is from Egypt and paper from china . Just did research no hate or so 👍

You can't say "must" let the people be their culture and tribe and kingdom. When Most High said "we shouldn't mix" He was protecting our identity.

The Land of Punt was contemporary with ancient Egypt. They traded with each other and Egypt actually got a lot of its resources from Punt. An Egyptian queen visited Punt and documented it. A lot it what is known about Punt was learnt from Egyptian artefacts.

yes Queen Hatshepsut was the one to open up trade with Punt present day Horn of Africa - she would get gold, frankincence/myrrh, etc. Also, The earliest known mention of the habesha people were by Queen Hatshepsut on one of her expeditions to the horn of Africa.

It’s worthy of mention that the ancient Ghana empire is in a completely different location from the modern day country of Ghana which only adopted its name from the ancient empire at independence. Modern day Ghana was previously the gold coast. Ancient Ghana was located more to the east of modern day Ghana.

I love how this person completely glossed over the fact that the Benin and Mali empire became rich by also trading enormous amounts of enslaved people.

The original ancient Egyptian (kemet) were black. So what like Sudanese or Ethopian black before later in history other foreign invaders from Eurasia (Assyrian, Persian, Greek, Roman and the Arab invasion) came and assimilated into the kemet culture. The original kemet people traced their origins to the south where the Nile originate from.

The primary factor behind the rise of these empires, particularly the numerous ones in West Africa, was their interconnected trading activities. This led to the development of a complex and dynamic system that continually evolved. However, the emergence of colonizers resulted in the disruption of this trade, replacing it with extractive practices that primarily benefitted the colonizers and a select group of Africans. Consequently, this led to significant upheaval in the social systems of West Africa, contrasting with other regions in Africa where commerce was less interconnected.
