For decades I was a wood purist. I would never have considered painting wood furniture. Now I divide wood pieces into 2 categories; true antiques and wood furniture. I'd never paint antique pieces but less expensive vintage wood pieces in need of a refresh I'm good with. I've actually come to appreciate the look.

How are we supposed to choose only one favorite?? Each piece is really stunning after you’ve worked your magic into the but my heart reaches out to piece number 1, 2 and 8. Would have LOVED to have had any of them in my home and would redo everything else to accommodate any of those pieces so they would get the attention as the focal pieces they are. Wonderful work!! Lovely inspiration for a mere mortal like myself ❤️

Katie you’re the best! The vanity to night stands are a favorite because I found a desk that is nearly identical right down to the pulls. They are completed, but the best part is how the pulls cleaned up with sanding. Bright and beautiful. I wish there were more vintage pull available.

Make over 9 was my favourite. I love that you kept the natural wood and just a little pop of colour with the drawers ❤️ Also makeover 5 was lovely, the little internal stencil details just beautiful. Each where masterpieces 👍👍

OMG, Katie, what could be better than your "respirator shielded face" looking in the camera after choosing the color brown for the Cane Console? Hilarious! I have to agree with your change of heart and going with the gray, but even as I saw the brown going on, I thought, "Well, she hasn't steered us wrong so far, she must have something wonderful in mind?" Then you shook your head NO, right in the camera! Bravo! All these pieces were truly stunning! I loved the lines of the night stands (via the vanity), and of course the black hutch is incredible! No way I could pick just 1!

You are the one that put in my mind the painting and/or lining of a drawer bottom and outersides if it has bottom gliders and also painting inside or back of wardrobe/armoire to add artistic touches that surprise.

You got some serious skills.thw one with the legs. Legs add detail, height and air flow. The color was on point. Rollers are an idea. Helps older ppl clean spaces.

I love wood. Under normal circumstances (the wood being high quality and the piece itself beautiful), I would choose to have it shine through. But the 1st one, the Moroccan one, is just depressing, until you worked your magic on it! It is still traditional, but with an edge. Just amazing!!!
