That bottom apron reconfig made all the difference. When I first saw those dracula teeth, I knew I wasn't going to like this makeover if they stayed. Beautiful and better than new, as usual.

Nice!!! removing the swirly bottom (vampire teeth) made a huge difference. It looks lovely now! And the exposed wood bits are just the right shade - not too orangey! I also love your workshop - that glimpse of the carefully prepared extra sanding sheets was jealousy-provoking!! Another great video!Thank you and kindest regards, k

Wow. Thank you the tips on Frog tape. I use it to tape off walls and ceilings but had no idea about the moisture activated glue. That's so good to know!

This came out so incredible and I can’t believe the timing of it. I have a piece I’m working on that is almost identical to this, I ALSO trimmed off the bottom edge, and I ALSO wanted to do a dip-dye style on it! This video helped me SOOOO much, thank you!!!

I resisted watching this because I thought it was a brown paint makeover - I have a hate of brown colour generally and paint finishes in particular - except natural wood finishes - so I was very pleasantly surprised!! Great job🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Love the colours you used, and the handles look great. Once you said why you were cutting the base down, I couldn't unsee the vampire fangs after that😆. I wondered why you didn't sand down the raised wood fibres earlier, so thank you for explaining that. It was very helpful👍

Beautiful colour and such precise work. You completely changed the flavour of the old standard maple dresser that so many of us had in our homes. Sadly my OCD would kick in and I would have to finish the paintwork even though your lines were bang on straight and accurate. This dresser will be well loved I am sure.

I painted cabinets for several years & we found that adding some paint to the top coat helped w/fuzzies on light colored painted surfaces & created a smooth uncompromised finish on dark painted surfaces.
