What about the middle beads.what should I say when I reach such a bead? Am new to Islam but atleast this can help
@Scott-Eesa Жыл бұрын
Nothing. The middle bead is just to separate the beads into groups of 33. Using the beads is fine, but don’t learn dhikr according to the beads. Research the Sunnah for dhikr after salaat, in the morning and such. Fortress of the Muslim is an excellent resource. Very inexpensive book.

I am a revert,trying to absorb everything my mind is able to process. I was gifted prayer beads,seems they're made of wood,with Arabic writing on each bead. They've been in my possession nearly two decades. The person who gifted me his prayer beads passed away at the age of 92 in 2021. Here I am,2 decades later ,a revert. I have two questions? 1. What is the significance of the Arabic writing on each bead? 2. Do I recite all 99 beads at the same time or do I or can I stop at 33? Thank you for your help.
@Milkie.3x3 Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure about the writing part, but interms of how many times to repeat. You do each part 33 times, Allahu Akbar, Alhamdulilah, SubhanAllah. After 33 of each, you switch to the next. Some prayer beads are made in 33 count, and some are made in 99 count, which, when divided 3x, would give you 33. Hope this helps
