My dad bought a new 1972 TD20c the smaller Jr brother of the TD25, the 25 was equivalent to about a Cat D8 and the TD20 was about D7 size. it was a splendid machine, but eventually developed problems with the cross shaft the track the frames pivoted on.

In early 60s used six TD24s for felling, plowing and harrowing on 47,000 acre rubber plantation in Sumatra, Indonesia.

Although I’m a Cornbinder fan, I’d have liked to have heard more about the Caterpillars and Allis-Chalmers crawlers that competed with IH.
