Jessiejsblood I’m so glad it did! 👌🏽 Micro blading is too big of a permanent risk for me. Tinting lasts a perfect time period, it’s natural and so easy to do at home! I’ll be posting a full detailed video on how to eyebrow tint soon!

A lot of us Jamaican women use the lipstick blush hack. We also like to use to use shimmer eyeshadow as highlighter and vice versa. Aloe Vera and Hibiscus are staples for a lot of us with sensitive skin. We love finding multiple uses for things; it saves money and gets plenty of use out of perishable items. I learned a lot from this video, love the concept. Thank you for sharing a part of your culture.

I’m an Arab I’m 14 and it’s true when they say rose water is a traditional Arab beauty secret, I use it every night and day on my skin just some few sprays then continue on my skin care, it’s perfect, but I never realized that it was mostly known in Arab counties lol 😂 and because I started to use rose water at 13, kids my age start to get pimples but I still have clear skin and I think it’s because of the healthy rose water

Nice video! But the title is a little misleading: Cleopatra can be indeed considered a “beauty icon” but she has nothing to do with Arab culture. Arabs conquered North Africa around the VII-VIII century (post christum) and Cleopatra died in the year 30 b.c. alongside with the thousands of years long pharaos’ dinasty of Egypt.
@nicolecominelli3069
@nicolecominelli3069 5 жыл бұрын
Oh my god I read some of the comments so much disinformation I’m trully shook! Cleopatra the 7th is the last pharao of the Ptolemaic dinasty. The Ptolemaic dinasty of egypt began in the IV century b.c., after Ptolomy I Soter a Makedonian militant (Makedonia is above Greece) “inherited” Egypt from Alxander the Great. It was common even before to practice incest between royals in Egypt and this dinasty was no exception, therefore the Ptolemaics could be considered Egyptians of Makedonian heritage. But!!! Cleopatra’s grandma (from her father’s side) and her mom were said to be concubines. (Cleopatra knew how to speak and write greek perfectly, which was something not all the Ptolemaics did by the way.) She was as Greek as she was Egyptian. (Not Arab! Saying that Cleopatra was Arab is like saying that Jesus was Arab)
@fabianhale845

The Ptolemies could write and speak Greek, it was Egyptian they were lacking in that Kleopatra learned.

Hey loves rose water is amazing, but that method of making it doesnt extract the nutrients. To make actual rose water u have to collect the condensate that forms from steaming a bowl of organic roses by placing ice on top of the steamer's lid. To make it at home u have to use a lot of roses and it can be a time consuming process, so its better to just go to a middle eastern shop that sells it for relatively cheap. I recommend persian rose water, or any rose water thats made with damask roses

I’ve been making my own wax with the same recipe as in the video for years now. But I cook at a point where it’s still liquid and I cut out a handkerchief into many pieces to take out the wax after applying it on my skin. I find the wax to be more efficient when still runny than when it’s a little hard. Also making wax this way turned out to work so much better than the commercialised ones!!

Nice vid!! Could i create my own toner/spray containing: honey, milk, mints, castor oil and rosewater?
@malv4935

I think you can! Castor oil is non-comedogenic so it won't clog your pores. But rose water alone can work wonders as a toner!

Cleopatra was actually Macedonian, not arabic.... she was a mix of European, Greek, and African descent. She is no where near arabic lol!! Good information though!! I will definitely use this. I am of Egyptian descent on my dad's side with the luscious hair along with it. Let's see how this goes. 💓

Cleopatra's mother was probably egyptian. It was common for greeks to marry non-greeks. One of Numidia's kings married a greekish woman and Numidia was a berber kingdom.
