Just FYI, the guy I got the HD clips from left out some of what I thought were crucial plays so I had to supplement those with the SD footage I had.

This game is unique with so many standout players from the state of Arkansas, many of whom were Little Rock natives like myself. I actually went to high school with Jake Bequette, although he was a freshman when I was a senior. There were three other Razorbacks on that team from my alma mater (Little Rock Catholic) in the late Garrett Uekman (RIP), Seth Armbrust, and Eric Redmon. Auburn RB Michael Dyer was also from Little Rock, along with the great Joe Adams and Broderick Green, as well as another 10 players on Arkansas' roster. Our other in-state talent on that team included the 'Warren 3' (i.e. Jarius Wright, Greg Childs, and Chris Gragg) as well as Tyler Wilson, Brandon Allen, Dennis Johnson, Jerry Franklin, Mitch Smothers, Darius Winston -- just to name a few of the more recognizable ones.

Don't forget Kiehl Frazier who was number 10 quarterback for Auburn was also from Fayetteville. He chased Malzahn to Auburn.

The Petrino termination set off a rough chain of events starting with the John L Smith debacle, to Bret Bielema seeing some limited success but really underachieving when he lost his assistants, and then finally the lowest we've been in decades with two dismal seasons under Chad Morris. However it's quite clear at this point that Sam Pittman was the right man for the job, and he hired an excellent coaching staff who have done a tremendous job in turning things around so quickly. Plus Coach Pittman has already stated that Arkansas will be his last job, so he's clearly all in. It's just a matter of time now before we get back to competing at a Top-10 level.
