@Tpnathan38 this is good for Japan to keep growing the sport and overall good for American football. I'd love for American foot all to become top sport in the world.
American football is not a minor sport in Japan. It is especially popular in cities such as Osaka and Tokyo. Of course, my high school (in Tokyo) has an American football club. In particular, most junior and senior high schools attached to private universities have American football clubs. A little-known fact is that Japan is one of the world's best in American football (and rugby), thanks in part to the Japanese love of wrestling, boxing, sumo and martial arts. FYI: Results of IFAF World Championship of American Football most titles: USA (three titles), then Japan (two titles) Only these two countries won latest world rankings of American football 1 USA 2 Japan 3 Mexico 4 Canada 5 Germany
Yup. Blocking and tackling. 1. Japan's offensive line play was superior. They consistently got a push and you could tell they are well coached. Some of those traps in the 4th are chef's kiss worthy. 2. Japan's defense rallied to the ball and I only counted one play of multiple missed tackles vs numerous on the part of USA. Their form tackling was much better. Japan was a joy to watch.

@@gimme31those guys played back when the rules allowed for players of their caliber to play. No one on the us roster currently is a d1 scholarship player. Just stop the nonsense. Japan can’t hold a candlestick to the us in terms of football
