One of the main reasons for hate is because people want to be different, like i enjoy the show tadc alot of people do its beautiuflly animated and written, some people say “i dont get the hype of it.” And im like…ITS A AMAZINGLY ANIMATED SHOW? I love the way you drew these styles! The design overall is sooo cute!!! Also, I would like to point out why the earlier G3 Monster High box art looks so wonky. It suffers the same thing that MLP's stock art did, in that it is traced concept art. Unfortunately it's very common. The original concept art by Anna Cattish is very cute but the tracing and weird shading doesn't give it justice. The newer box art is drawn by Darko Dordevic, and he drew some stuff for G1, which is why it has that reminiscent look to it. Of course, it just looks better overall because it is not traced.

Ahhh I see, guess I missed that part T__T Also I agree that just because someone is young doesn't mean they can't be held accountable. But I also think the way Rika went about it is definitely not the best. To me publicly exposing someone is the last resort if talking to them doesn't work. When you have a bigger following, you need to be mindful of how it can play out. And like I said in the video, her later doubling down on it and saying she "would do it again because it got her clout" is what really solidified it for me. We aren't perfect, and I can see how she could've impulsively made the post, but after the response she could've taken it down and cleared things up or something. I think then the aftermath would've been way better for her. I don't judge her for getting upset. If someone copied my art this closely, referencing or not, I would get weirded out at first too. But again, when you have a following, you have to be more responsible with your words and actions. I'm not saying she should've ignored the kid and moved on, she has a right to respond, it's just the way she did it was pretty irresponsible in my opinion. Sorry this is a lot lol
