Thanks man! Yeah, I feel like sometimes people just want to show off "how cool they are" and don't get to the point of the tutorial, unless they're sure to extend the 8 min mark of a video to grab some extra cents from ads, lol! Anyways, highly appreciate your comment man - and I got 2 more of those short, condensed videos lined up for December, so we can close the year with a big boom! :D

So I’m doing a music video right now and in one clip I used the kaleidoscope effect. Subject jumps up into the air, I want to see if I can somehow get him to come out the effect soon as he hits the ground. Any ideas on how to do that?
@SebastianFriedrichVisuals2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely - I would say use this effect on an adjustment layer on top of your actual clip and make it start, when you want it to start and end when he lands on the ground. It’s gonna be an abrupt stop however. Or use this effect on the actual video clip and keyframe the kaleidoscope settings to be not visible until you want it to start and as soon as he hits the ground, keyframe it to fade out!:)

@SebastianFriedrichVisuals2 жыл бұрын
Hey Randall - I partly agree with you, because it's refreshing to just watch something like this instead of a 15 min tutorial, however I still think there's room for longer, more in depth tutorials, as long as KZbinrs cut out the boring and unnecessary "Hey guys, what's up, it's xyz coming up with this new video, don't forget to like and subscribe and share." That's what ruins those tutorials I think
