10 AWFUL LOST EPISODE CREEPYPASTAS (The Lost Episode Trilogy - Episode 1)

Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen and all else, to a brand new top list! Today, we are in for something very special; an entire trilogy of videos, all dealing with the subject of LOST EPISODES! Indeed, a frightening combination of fuzzy videotapes coupled together with countless nostalgic childhood experiences is sure to leave shivers down your spine! With stories featuring classic characters like Shrek, Garfield and Dora the Explorer, we can only expect the best… right?

EDIT: Also, I’d like to add a small addition to my point regarding not reading the specific part of the Arthur story. I would like to clarify my point there: I have no problem with serious topics like that being used in horror stories. However, I have an issue with it when it is ONLY put in there for shock and no other reason and serves no purpose to the plot at all, which is why I made a point not to read it in the Arthur story since I felt it mishandled that topic. Serious topics and descriptions like that need to serve a purpose. I don’t think the author of the story did that out of malicious intent, but due to inexperience with writing, just so that is clear.
Some have asked why I then later went on to read out the descriptions of the same things in the Bob the Builder story, which is a fair point and question to ask. This was an oversight on my part, as the Bob story included these things very quickly and briefly, hence why I read them out while quickly reading the story and paid it no mind at the time since the story was so bafflingly written and confusing. Again, it was an oversight on my part. Thank you for reading!

One hyper-realistic morning, I opened my hyper-realistic eyes, only to find that my hyper-realistic sheets had been torn off my hyper-realistic bed and strewn about my hyper-realistic room. I decided, with my hyper-realistic brain, to jump out of my hyper-realistic bed to find the cause of this, only to notice that, when my hyper-realistic feet touched the hyper-realistic carpet, it was damp. Looking down with my hyper-realistic eyes, I saw that it was covered in hyper-realistic blood. I opened my hyper-realistic mouth to scream, but hyper-realistic blood started to pour out, and my hyper-realistic eyes became filled with hyper-realistic blood-tears. Due to a massive loss of hyper-realistic blood, I died, and then a hyper-realistic skeleton popped out.

For that Dora one, they could’ve attempted to build it up, Like have Dora & Boots explain the parts of the monkey starting with usual shit like the hands, eyes, mouth, etc., then have Dora say something like “let’s see what’s inside the monkey!”, *then* add in your shock with Dora attacking Boots Idk, something like that, not just mutilated kitten out of nowhere

I was only six when I saw it. The legendary lost Dora the Explorer episode; "All about Monkeys". The episode was yanked off the air pretty quickly after it was released, but not fast enough to spare me and almost a hundred other little kids from witnessing it. The episode started as usual. The theme song began with it's cheery music and cute visuals. I leaned forward in my seat, excited to watch the episode. But then the first weird thing happened. The theme song cut, and went silent. The video kept playing, but there was no sound. I grabbed the remote to see if it had muted itself, but it hadn't. That was just the way the video was made. I thought it was weird but I did not question it much. I was six after all. Sometimes I wish I could go back. It stayed like this for the rest of the theme song, then the sound came back on just in time for the start of the episode. Dora was there, with her usual grin. Beside her was her faithful monkey companion Boots. He was grinning too. "Hola mi amigos!" cried Dora. "Today we will be learning about monkeys!" "Yeah, monkeys like me!" Boots said. I was happy. This was gonna be a good episode, or so I thought. "First of all, monkeys have hands that are just like human hands!" Boots held up his hands to show that, indeed, they were similar to human hands. "Next, monkeys have mouths with sharp teeth." Boots proudly displayed his teeth. "Monkeys have round eyes, humans have ovals! Ojo means eye in spanish. Can you say ojo?" "Ojo!" I yelled happily into the TV. So far, it was great and I was learning a lot. "Alright," said Dora, "Now let's see what's inside the monkey!" She grabbed Boots's shoulder. Boots reacted with surprise. "Wait wha- Dora what are you-" He didn't have time to answer, because Dora grabbed the top of his chest by the fur, and started tearing it off. Boots's expression was one of total anguish, one I did not know was possible to have on a cartoon character, yet he did not scream. Neither did I. I was frozen, paralyzed by fear. I did not understand what was happening. Dora finished clawing boots open. His organs and intestines were visible. She kept talking about monkeys. "You see, monkeys have organs, just like humans. I will show you." She then started clawing herself open. I was crying by now. Boots still was not dead for some reason. He looked at the camera, his eyes clouding over slightly. I'm sorry, he mouthed. I'm so so sorry... And then he was gone. Boots's head hung limply to the side. Dora had finished her examination. She placed the monkey on the ground. "And that's what monkeys are made of." she said. Then her voice changed. It became a full-grown woman's voice. "You are SICK Ray." she said. "Leave him alone-NO!" The episode ended abruptly. I was full-blown screaming by now. My mother had come downstairs just in time to see the end of the show. She called the police. They replayed the video, over and over again. Then they left. I still don't know why the episode aired. I heard rumors of a hostage situation, of an awful manager, of a mentally sick psychopath. Someone died, I heard. I had to go to therapy. I still do. I'm mostly okay now, but I'm still kind of afraid. Maybe the episode will be found again one day. I hope not.

The worst thing about lost episode creepypastas about cartoons especially is that the episode was written, greenlit by the studio and the network who airs it, the storyboarder was ok with it, the voice actors were ok with it, the keyframe animators were ok with it, the inbetween animators were ok with it, the sound guy was ok with making horror music, the background painters were ok with horror imagery, and only when the episode is produced and ready to air does the test viewer go “ok guys you all did a very good job but what the fuck was that”. It’s even worse when it goes past test viewing and actually airs on television.

Most horrible lost episode creepypastas try to use the tactic of "suspend your disbelief" to insinuate that someone (or something. usually Satan. spooooky) went in after all that processing and testing and changed everything before airing. Unless it's something that's not all that well known in which they just make it out to be that the creator was mentally ill or completely insane. In either situation, the author is telling me a wizard did it, or a clearly mentally ill/insane person had their weird and twisted show greenlit. So my disbelief is not suspended.

The warmth of my tears were the only warm thing in the chilly night. My window let out a crackling as it hit the outside wall hard. But it was a muffled, all i could focus on was that crackling voice, my brothers voice was never to be heard again from that disgusting disorted mouth and cracked lips. The funniest part about the Steven Universe one is that Steven has actually died before and is addressed as being killed, in "Steven and the Stevens" where he goes bqck in time to recurit multiple versions of himself in a band. The episode ends with an army of stevens fighting as a resukt of the episodes climax until the original steven (and the one the show has been following for the past 12 or so episodes) rallys together the massive group to break the artfact that sent him back in the first place, leading every single steven to die by melting into sand. The steven we have known tells the steven of this current tine to not go back in time and let the things that wouldvw happen in the episode (a boat ends up crashing into his dads carwash and means he cant come to a big beach party as a result) before literally dying and melting into sand. The steven here is shown singing a midified version of the song from earlier, ending on the most blatant way if singing what happened, "i learned to stay true to myself by watching myself die." Surprisingly, this is remarkably more horrifying than the actual creepypasta, helped by the current stevens horrifed stare after watching himself evaporate intk sand followed hy a hard cut into the changed song.

Honestly, i think a good "lost episode" creepypasta would be something a lot more subtle. Maybe the show temporarily had a new director and they kept sneaking in subliminal messages trying to get the kids to join a cult or something. The characters would look a bit off and uncanny, and act out of character in a slightly disturbing way because of a different animator and writer, but there'd be no hyper-realism. Maybe there'd be a short clip of some gore, like some kind of sacrifice scene, but it wouldn't go on for too long, probably just a few seconds and then the episode gets cut because the studio found out what they were doing.

ikr, Also a bit more realistic too. I mean in real life, no one is going to kill themselves, or even be that traumatized over seeing a dark bootleg version of some kids show. Most likely they'll either think it's really dumb (like squidwards suicide) and just forget they ever saw it, in a similar way they forgot they saw The Emoji Movie. Or if the episode is done well, they'd enjoy it for what it is and actually have a good time. Or if it's like Jimmy Neutron Happy Family hour, they'll just laugh at the absurdity of it.
