I found it through a Google search a couple years ago… Actually ordered 4 covers since I loose them, beat them up on my rides… they are trashed within no time ;-)

After section 7, the hard section, there are stair step rocks that are gnarly, riding solo may be too tough, trying to pick up a big bike on steep slopes are no fun.

I have become VERY proficient in picking up my heavy girl when she decides to take a "Nap" 🤣 "Stair Steps"… you haven't seen anything yet, wait till you see the video of Lockheart Basin on the UTBDR… CRAZY riding 😉👍

I've been binging on BDR content the last couple of days, as I was planning to cross through from LA to CO in July, however, I am second guessing my decision to do it in July as I certainly do not want to get stuck out in the middle of Death Valley in the summer heat.

The heat was one of the conditions you absolutely have to take into account when riding the BDR… some sections can be CRAZY hot depending on the time of year 🥵

Colorado BDR would be my first pick… Second would be Northeast BDR in fall… each VDR has its own uniqueness but those are probably my two favorites...

Some spots I had to pass by unfortunately… I had a very tight schedule if I wanted to finish all 8 western BDRs and ride nearly 100% of the routes…
