my nominations for 10 more badass video game levels is gonna have to be Chronos from the OG God of War, Suicide Mission from ME2, the new and improved Xen in Black Mesa, The Wedding in Sleeping Dogs, and the final mission, Halo, in Halo 3. “Straw Meet Camel” from Spider-Man (2018) is still one of the very best levels in the entire game. Granted, the level design was not fantastic in the game, but the escalation of conflict through the Fisk construction site, all the way up to the helicopter on the roof, and immediately following it up with one of the most insane QTEs, AND a ridiculous helicopter chase (that also ends in an utterly badass QTE) is one of the most adrenaline pumping levels ever, and I smiled ear to ear through every second of it. Also the Bank, Hokkaido, and the Bath House in Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. The whole game is good, but those were some of my favorite missions. House of Cards and Dance with the Devil from Blood Money were good, but The Lee Hong Assassination and Seafood Massacre contracts were also great in Contracts. God of War 2 and 3s intros were wild. Not to mention Kronos' boss fight. Then there were the Valkyries and especially their Queen in 2018. Fort Frolic in Rapture. Eh, the whole game of Bioshock has more then a few moments of: "Oh, snap.
