I grew up smoking candy cigarettes I ate the chocolate ones and pretended to smoke the chalky ones when you put them in your mouth and blew smoke would come out pretend smoke from the candy,but we thought we were cool pretending to smoke them. You can still find candy cigarettes. A ice cream/candy truck in our neighborhood sold them the last time I checked. A local mom paid him $10 to not sell them. He took the money and sold them anyway. Just sugar sticks, and they do not lead to smoking later in life. Not at all. I’ve never smoked a real cigarette of any type….ever…..and I loved candy cigs as a kid…and yes….I used to pretend they were real.

Where I live there we have something called zombie chew it is similar the toxic waste chew but probably less sour, they were available in my school canteen but the school didn't allow them later on probably because they might have had a lot of lead like the toxic waste chew bars did

In Canada Smarties are called Rockets because in Canada Smarties are these candy coated chocolates similar to plain M&Ms but we also have M&Ms as well and yes as far as I know we still have Rockets candy in Canada

Candy cigarettes probably was an irresponsible invention looking back now , but they didn't do any harm to anyone. Having said that , because my mom was a non smoker and thought smoking wad an evil vice along with drinking alcohol , she never let me or my siblings try the candy cigarettes.
