My brother has done cryotherapy for a few years now. He goes 6 days a week to freeze for 3 minutes. The first time he went, he was hobbling in, depending on his cane to keep him upright. He walked out carrying the cane. He receives a lot of benefits from this, including pain relief. It's strange because this was a man who wore a heavy winter coat, gloves and hat when it was 70 degrees outside! I say, whatever works! Before, he was in so much pain, causing deep depression, that he just wanted to die. I'm grateful!

Dear Dr Berg, I found yr videos and started keto around the same time I started cold therapy. The two have worked wonders. I wasn’t trying to lose weight but lost almost 10kg anyway in just 4 months (falling from 72kg and now about 63kg). But the more important benefits were taking care of excess gas, constant belching, and severe headaches. Yr video on the relationship between gallbladder and headaches was the light bulb 💡 moment. That led me to your fatty liver clip and then I pieced it’s together that my inability to process dietary fat was to blame for my problems. Going keto lowered the insulin which improved organ functions. As for cold therapy, I can now sit in 13C up to my neck for 15-20 minutes. Started at 20 seconds 4 months ago. Something to consider is that psychology has a lot to do with enduring the initial sudden change in temperature. The discomfort for the first 1-2 minutes can lead to panic and fear and that leads to hyperventilation. (Though we breathe faster and take deeper inhalation’s, we lack the CO2 the body needs to transport the excess O2 into our cells. This is why when hyperventilating we breathe into a paper bag so we can re-inhale the CO2 we just exhaled and limit the intake of unneeded O2). After the first few minutes the body adapts and shunts remaining warm blood to the core. (The extremities gets colder than the core after very prolong cold exposure and that can result in frostbite of fingers, toes and even the tip of the nose). Thanks! Keep up the great work, it is helping revolutionize our understanding of our health.

love cold baths .I started 6 months .Every morning i take a cold shower and I'm ready to go .The feeling after the cold shower is something that i really can't describe .It makes me feel so strong and energetic and takes away stress .Its not easy waking up from your hot bed to take a cold bath , you have to do it slowly and not immediately cold water to your body and not 100% cold at the beginning .Do it slowly at the beginning and take your time (first splash your face and head ,than feet ,after your hands and gently to the rest of your body .You don't need to stay there for along time at the beginning (1minute is ok ) .When you get used to the cold showers than you can stay longer and more with the coldest water .

I take at least 1 cold shower everyday. It's not so easy when you live in the northern part of Europe, especially around this time of year. Can't imagine my life without it though. It amplifies my mood, expands my creativity and gives me such an energy boost. I even find myself getting annoyed when hot water comes on at my gym 😂 (there's no option to switch to just cold) Guys, give it a try, start out with lukewarm water today and gradually switch to cooler water over time. It's life changing!
@ezkiller935 жыл бұрын
Nah man. Cold showers is something you can't ease into. You can gradually increase the time you spend in it, but not its temperature. It's like jumping out of a plane. You can't gradually jump out until you are ready to fully do it. You have to commit. Besides, cold showers aren't just about the therapy; they're also about self-control and facing your fears head on.
@shooshooshooshooshooter5 жыл бұрын
@zero agree with everything you said. The only reason I suggested it this way is for those with reservations or any fear. I remember recently telling someone I know of my daily cold showers. He looked at me like I was insane. He asked if I start with warm then switch but I told him I go straight into cold. Said he'd never be able to manage it. Especially with our climate here. I'm with you about the fear. I just go straight in too but for beginners it's basically like torture I'd imagine.

Have you heard about the end of age though?
@ilovenoodles74835 жыл бұрын
@@FullTilt444 No, that's not what I meant. This is a sick, mad world system. The end of the age refers to the end of human government. It will take war to get there, but it will happen. The real G d is going to rule the entire Earth one day soon, but sone people will still against Him and some will be for Him during that time. Humans want to and have given power and authority to things that were never intended to have authority over humans. Humans are supposed to dominate the Earth for good purposes, not send the world to it's own demise, however in human attempt to make things "better" we have inadvertly made things worse. People that haven't realized this yet are still the problem against people who have realized this.
@ilovenoodles74835 жыл бұрын
@@FullTilt444 Yes, exaclty. It is what you said. When the Bible says they will "pray for death but won't see it." Anyone who thought it was a good idea to live forever in this realm is of the evil one and falling right into the plan of evil even if they don't even know it. They are void of understanding. The world really is giving/trying to give technology a soul. They already gave technology a mind. So yeah it is like that movie I Robot. It is going to get to be so bad that people are going to want to die, even try killing themselves and it won't work because technology can't really be killed. That's why they will seek death (they think it will be a refuge) and not find it. If people have any kind of microchip implanted in them no matter what reason, (which by the way, do not ever do it) it already has the power to keep people alive for ever and kind of turn them partial robots. Micro chips are in fact the mark of the beast and if someone has it that means they have rejected Jesus and is owned by the devil There is no getting out of it. Ever. No redemption at that point. They gave themselves to the devil. Another way they will seek death and not find it, is because G d is faithful even when you are not. My best friend was suicidal and even tried to commit several times. She was not living for God at the time but I would say quick prayers for her. Her mother would pray for her also and G d did deliver her from that. Praise G d! She sought death and couldn't find it because God had and has a better plan for her and she had people praying for her. Now she is saved, and also has salvation Acts 2:38 and living for God.
