Hey guys and welcome back to Mad About Skin.. Today we are focusing on the best anti ageing serums of 2022... I want to dispel the myth that brands want us to believe that you have to pay more to get better results when I comes to anti ageing skincare.. This is not the case and hopefully these serums prove that.. Love you all so much xxxxxx

I have "liked" and commented on every one of your videos since discovering your channel, just a few months after you started. I just wanted to encourage everyone else to do the same. It's easy to do, takes very little time, and it's the best way to support this channel!!❤️❤️❤️ I also want to share my top, frugal anti-aging products: Hylamide SubQ Skin, TO Amino Acids, TO Retinol 1% in Squalane, and the Believe Beauty Hydrating Gel Cream (full of peptides, including copper peptides at only $5!!) Believe Beauty can be purchased at Dollar General stores. My fine lines have completely disappeared!!

I love your picks! I just cannot stand the unstable nature of vitamin C though. I use antioxidants but I’m a bit sad Mary&May Idebenone + Blackberry complex serum wasn’t in the antioxidant list. I love it so much! As a calming step in my routine I use Daymellow Houttuynia Cordata real soothing essence, it has houttuynia cordata of coarse but also centella, mugwort and some tea tree. It’s amazing! I still have to try Niod but I’m just not in a hurry. As always, love your videos and I hope everyone is having a good week! 💕

I have the Mary&May serum though haven't opened it yet. Where do you use it in your routine?
@angelaquigley3962 жыл бұрын
@@maggie_n_ms I personally use it as my first serum in my serum step but honestly it’s so light if you wanted to use it as a last essence you could. I say first and last because I use two essences and two serums lol. I feel like it could be used in either step but I lean more towards a first serum. I highly recommend trying a drop on the back of your hand to test the thickness and place it in your routine based on lightest to thickest texture and viscosity compared to the other products you use. If in doubt that’s always a good rule of thumb to fall back on. 😋

I just bought a few products from Geek and Gorgeous and one product that I was pleasantly surprised by is the Cheer Up 6% mandelic acid + BHA. It’s quite mild, a really nice and humble product, yet effective. I missed the resveratrol, tho 🤭 I wouldn’t have the nice glow I’m sporting if it wasn’t for my consistent use of resveratrol - and The Ordinary’s Resveratrol & Ferulic Acid is a real find! I loved the thought of favourite serums as best friends 😸 That’s so true! Love and support!! ✌️😽💗

I enjoy the A game and I reckon in a couple of more days I will be fully moved to 10. I also use survival 0 and FECC. Seeing my skin every day, I am not sure I notice any differences but it scares me to think what it would be like without all my lotions and potions 😂. I definitely have less fine lines and wrinkles than some others of the same age
@bluecurlygirl2 жыл бұрын
You should take monthly pictures and save them in a folder on your phone. It's amazing when you look back at the differences you can see. I couldn't see any difference in my skin until I looked at the pictures from November 2020. Started tretinoin then and my lip lines are greatly diminished. Lip scar is far less noticeable and the lines under my eyes are softer. Skin looks healthier and firmer in places when I look back too. Take your photos for sure. You'll see the pay off for all your investment.

Also, I want to spread the word about this 10% Niacinamide Serum by "Skinlex". It also contains 4% N-Acetyl Glucosamine, licorice and willow bark extracts, hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and several more nourishing and beneficial ingredients. The ingredients are really clean with no added fillers and it's similar to Paula's Choice Booster but waaaaaaay cheaper in a 2 fl oz bottle. I love it!

I had adult acne since 19 (that's technically an adult here in Canada ;)). It decreased as I went through my 20's. Birth control completely eliminated my sparse hormonal pimples when I 1st tried it at 27. It also made my skin really glow and look soft and supple. ....would've been great if my mom let me take it when I begged her when I was a teen, but...she's Catholic. She wanted me to have horrible hormonal pimples instead. lol. But I digress. I don't really have adult acne now. Up until a few months ago, I did get pimples I think shortly after ovulation. A few months ago, I started a medication (not birth control; for another organ in my body and not related to my reproductive organs,) and it may be a coincidence, but I haven't had a single hormonal pimple since. Very bizarre, and I can't think of any other variables.

Hey Rob - this is such a helpful video. I’m hitting 30 in the summer and suddenly a massive line has arrived on my forehead! For the A-Game, I’ve used differin for a while but never anything else - would you recommend going straight to the 10 after using adapalene?
@oceanbird.2 жыл бұрын
Adapalene is prescription strength but was made over the counter in the US a few years back. It is much stronger than retinol/retinal and more on par with tretinoin prescription. Differin is the most potent vitamin a you can get over the counter. If you've been using it for a while and want something stronger, you'd have to go to a dermatologist and get a stronger prescription of tretinoin. You can use any over the counter retinol serum and it won't be as strong as the differin you've already been using!

Hi Rob! I just wanted to thank you for helping me find a product that actualy works on my active acne without making my skin dry as a raisin! After I watched your review on The ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Anhydrous Solution, I thought I'll give it a try since it's so budget friendly. OMG, my breakouts are getting reduced rapidly and my skin doesn't feel dry at all!!!! That being said, I use it only topically after my toner and before any serums. I tried mixing it with my moisturiser but I woke up with not dry, but dull skin so I switched back to the topical application. So yea, HG status right away!!! Thank you so so much and keep putting out brilliant content as you always do. Much love :*
