Oh my gosh! I didn’t block you. IG disabled my account and I am trying to get it reinstated. This seems to have happened to lots of other accounts and I don’t understand why. I’m quite frustrated. Thanks for the video! My best cost per wear items are my nylon Prada reissue (kids and rain resistant), a seasonal black caviar Chanel which I always take on holidays and my Goyard which is my work bag. As SLGs, my Hermes Calvi and an LV key ring which my mum gifted me now 16 years ago 😮

Very nice collection. My best luxury item with cost per wear is my Cartier Happy Birthday bag which I am in love with for 22 years. It is still glam, dressy and very lady like. PS I have the same Cole Haan sneakers, also think they are the best!!! I love their ballet flats and MJ also , much more comfortable than Chanel.😊❤

Hello I love your videos and I watch them a lot. I wanna know do you wear your Cartier watch around the house especially when the kids were little? I got one as a birthday gift and since I am mostly at home with the little ones, I dont wear it much. I would like to wear it constantly on my wrist (except for bath times and sleeping) but I am afraid. Then again just standing in my drawer is not optimal either.

Oh thank you! I’m so glad you enjoy the videos. I hardly ever wore my watch when my kids were very little because I didn’t want to scratch them accidentally. In fact, I didn’t wear much jewelry unless I was going out. There is a season for everything. I’m sure you’ll be able to enjoy your Cartier watch and other finer things when your kids are older. No rush. These are forever pieces afterall. 😉

I hear LV canvas has gotten thinner over the years so I wonder if there’s a noticeable difference, but in general, coated canvas is so durable, I agree. It’s a great daily item.

Cost per wear: I own a Coach Cassie black with brass hardware. This bag went thru the digs and still holds up. I've purchased other handbags and always reach for the coach instead. I've also wanted to buy new handbags but say to myself, no. This looks just like my coach so why would i spent $700 USD for the same thing diff brand. I have my polene handbag. I still love her and also reach for it when I do not want a black hand or shoulder bag. Currently on the prowl for a bucket bag, and cream bag, and potentially a shoulder bag.

I am happy with my purchases from Dress Up Your Purse. Although I got the LV key pouch, I don't think the quality justifies the price. I use it, but I would advise others to save their money and get the Dress Up Your Purse alternative instead. Additionally, I have always wanted a Chanel bag and I am considering getting a preloved WOC.

May I ask, what do you think a decent cost-per-wear in $$? Is $50/wear good or way too high? $10? Most of us probably have a few bags that are around $500/wear too 😆. My best CPW is a Speedy30 i got +35 years ago for around $500 that I use in fits and starts but easily 25x a year every year but the idea of trying to achieve a sub $1/wear for any other bag seems laughable.

Let's take your Speedy. You have had it 35 years x 365 days per year = 12,775 total days. You estimate you wear it 25 days per year, so 12,775 ÷ 25 = 511 total days of wear. You bought it for $500.00....so you are right at $1.00 per wear on your Speedy...maybe a few cents less. If you doubled the days per wear per year, you would be at 50 cents per wear. At any rate...you have already achieved your dollar per cost of wear yourself on your Speedy. I assume it's still serviceable, so you should only get better. For a new Chanel bag at $10,000.00, it's going to take a long time to bring down the cost per wear, but the only way to change that is to wear it.

I’d say they run true to size. I got the Wide version for my husband and dad bc they have wider feet. They love these and say they’re super comfortable. But I wear the normal width. Hope that helps.
